After 8 pm the front entry is locked, front desk is unmanned an an entry code is needed to get in. Room lighting very inadequate. Motion sensors in the hall did not work. Needed to use our phone flashlight to find the key hole in the door lock. Room furnishings were dated.

Property only deserves one star.

It was a charming hotel. We had a great stay. The owner was very nice. We would love to come back again.

A very nice small hotel in a perfect location to explore Avignon. The hosts communicated well prior to checkin & were very knowledgeable about the area.

Hotel in great place with vibe. Our room however had some small as it was located in the basement without real windows. Breakfast good.

A nice smaller hotel. Clean and comfortable , no frills. Many stairs and narrow hallways. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Convenient to Tourism Office, restaurants, shops and Avignon Centre train station.

Overall ok experience. Room was clean and bed comfortable. 10 minute walk to the Papal Palace. Reception was ok. We arrived at 9am left our luggage at the reception until 4pm (of which they were very strict about the time). Also be aware if you have allergies, they have cats in the reception area

Centrally located, 5 minutes from the train station and 8 minutes walk to the Palas du Papes and Avignon Bridge. Our room needs to be updated, there was black mold in the shower. Staff was very friendly.

The check in process is terrible. When I booked, the listing did not state that I had to check in by 8 pm, so I didn’t plan to be there at this time. The evening I arrived, I received an email at 7:30 telling me that the deadline was 8. I was able to arrive “late” with a door code, but the manager had the nerve to berate me the next day for being “late.” This is rude and unprofessional. They communicated poorly about how to check in for their lackluster hotel, then they gave me a hard time about being “late.” The guy would not let it go, even though I got in fine. Would not recommend.

Manager was a little unwelcome at the begging until he saw me uncomfortable, I shouldn’t get to that point, it’s very hard for me to have that experience. Building is in the back street of bars .. not the best location.

Fantastic value, clean, quiet, well located (4 min walk to train and 7 min to Palais des Papes). Very much a boutique hotel with a personal charm! The owners are tremendously kind, attentive, give great recommendations…and even showed me attention when passing me on their evening stroll (which was technically their time off). Would stay here again without hesitation! P.S.: they also have adorable cats.

Owner was informative and friendly. Location was convenient to the main train station and the tourist office where most tours depart from. Room was comfortable and would definitely return if I get back to Avignon.

It was very clean and I’m rally crazy about that. The bed was very comfy. Room was small but I had room for all my stuff. Bathroom was tiny, but I got to an even tinier one later. The toilet cover is unique, but you have to go to see it. Too cute. Location was fantastic. The owner was the most helpful I had on my 28 day trip. Very kind and wants guests to enjoy his town.

the superior double room has a nice patio which makes it specilly pleasant - location is at the entrance of the old city, 2 minutes from the train station (not the tgv station thought) and service very good, manager is friendly and helpfull

The hotel was very close to the centre, the only problem was parking - we didn't know which car park to use so had to pay full price (just over €20) as we did not have a reply from the hotel.

Clean and comfortable room, which was quite spacious. Host was also very responsive and friendly. Note there is no elevator.

We were on the top floor so getting our suitcases down was interesting. The guys at the desk were very helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Boquier, the receptionist was a lovely guy, very friendly and helpful, however, my husband thought that he was bitten all over his back by mosquitos but when I saw the horizontal lines I think that it’s bed. Bug bites. I looked at images online of bedbug bites and they were similar.

Pleasant, welcoming and helpful staff. Nice clean room. Bathroom a little quirky due to 6-inch step up to enter, but clean and totally usable. Cute, nicely decorated reception and breakfast rooms.
