We enjoyed our stay

Mouldy.

We were greeting by a luke warm reception. She didn't seem friendly or welcoming. I don't appreciate when I book through Hotels.com and the property pretends to not have the reservation and then when they find it try not to honor details like two free drinks at the hotel bar. Check in is at 4pm, which they were strict about and only had our room ready 10 minutes earlier. But that is pretty standard in bigger city hotel rooms. But they were strange about letting my very small emotional support dog in the restaurant, so we tried the patio. Unfortunately, it was too loud and hot on the patio and we were down wind of a smoking, small, filtered cigarette. So, we waited in the lobby. The hotel is very nice and clean. The sheets and bedding are luxurious. There is no coffee in the room, but they will bring you a Keurig I believe they had a sign stating that in the room. The bathroom is large and has an open shower with no door or curtain, which is very popular in newer remodeled bathrooms. We booked the city view King Room and it was pretty cool. It is within walking distance of the baseball stadium and the casino. We went to the casino and to a few bars on the walk home, met some locals and had a great night out. I would stay here again, the service was still good, just not very welcoming. That seems to be common in the boutique hotels and swankier places I have stayed in the past. I stayed at different IHG property in Akron next 2 nights and had far superior hospitality overall.

The valet here was excellent and the lobby is pleasant. Our room was not as good as I hoped. The carpet must have been recently cleaned because it was damp the entire weekend. Also, the pocket door for the toilet area was off its track so we couldn't close it. We asked twice at the desk for this to be fixed, but it never was. Also, the shower area looks nice, but the shower head left something to be desired as there was no adjustment. Food and drink are readily available, but shopping is not great.

Everything was very nice, and the staff very friendly. Would definitely stay here again. Also hotel is very close to Progressive field which made for a nice walk.

I love this hotel! Perfect location for all the action downtown Cleveland with convenient self-parking only a block away. The rooms have great style, fantastic showers and the staff are friendly.

Great location, never received Gold member free drinks or was asked about upgrade. Room kind of like a dungeon with 2 small windows.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Progressive Field- an easy 5 minute walk right down the street. The room we stayed in is very nice. Bathroom is clean and bright. Beds are very comfortable. AC worked well and kept us comfortable throughout the night. Staff was very friendly at check-in and when we purchased from their drink/snack selection by the desk. Looking forward to checking out the restaurant on site this morning. This was our first time staying here and we will be back!

Room was below average, A/C and Bathroom Fan were both broken.

We were in town for one night to see a Guardians game. The hotel was located a short walk from the stadium with a few bars to stop at on our way back. The staff in the bar and at check in (Mikey) were amazing, friendly and accommodating. Rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable. It was just what we needed

The service is EXCELLENT. From valet to the desk. Our AC was not working when we complained the had to reset from downstairs but did it right away. It took about 30 min to cool down. Bed was very comfortable the best shower ever.

I would love to extend extreme and sincere gratitude to everyone at the Schofield Hotel for their kind support. I stayed two nights with my daughter which were wonderful but when I had to extend my stay by 3 nights due to flight cancellations I don’t think I could have landed in a more welcoming space. The whole staff from the restaurant to support staff to the front desk was available and supportive. Special thank you to Jerry at the front desk along with Tyler and Jana. Don’t hesitate to stay here!

We stayed one night for the Guardian’s game. Room was clean and comfortable. Did not have time to explore the area around hotel. Thanks for a comfortable albeit brief stay.

Very clean an cozy

Nice hotel but a little overpriced.

I’ve always enjoyed my stay here but this time things were different. The room was noisy on the street side, I heard every conversation and motorcycle engine. The showerhead was poor and the bed mattress was wobbly. I don’t know why the quality went down

Usually I have a good time at this hotel but this time I was given a noisy room with a bad shower head. I could hear every car and motorcycle as if they were in bed with me. The mattress was wobbly as well and the docking charge socket near the bed didn’t work. The alarm clock audio was too low and tv channels didn’t work. I don’t know why the quality dipped

I requested a room with two queen beds and a couch. I was given a room key and went up to my room only to find that someone was sleeping in there. I then got a new room assigned to me but it didn’t have a couch. It took multiple phone calls to get anything from guest services and housekeeping. The building itself is now of and feels like a nursing home. Terrible bang for your buck. I would go elsewhere.

Location is good. Walking distance to the ballpark. The facility is a little old. The valet parking is a disaster--had to wait for 40 minutes to get my car

They say the hotel is pet friendly. There is an ally where people smoke marijuana where they consider an outdoor area for your dog, or you can walk over a block up the street to a tree with some mulch. Horrible.

I was disappointed in this hotel. The location was great because I was in town for a concert. But the price was super expensive for what I got. I got there right at check- in time. Waited 40 minutes because the room was not ready. I went back up to the desk to see how much longer and they said the room was ready but I had never received a text. So I felt like I probably waited for more time than I needed too. The room was slightly upgraded (mostly bathroom area) but the beds were not comfortable and some of the furniture had chips in it. There was also no fridge in the room which was disappointing. When I checked out the next day, the valet said they were having trouble pulling cars out to the front of the hotel so about 5 groups of people went out the side of the hotel to the garage where they park the cars. For one couple, the valet could not find their car and a person from their party had to go into the garage to search. My car they found but they got stuck at the exit of the garage (due to a car blocking exit) and the gate arm hit the grill of my car. Also when the valet pulled out they had one of my tires up on the curb. Needless to say the service and overall comfort of the room did not match the surge pricing I had to pay for my room.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff We have stayed here several times and love the convenient location. Easy to walk to the stadiums and restaurants, bars, etc. Rooms are always in perfect condition. Recommend this one!
