This was our second stay here, although this time it was out of season and service's were closed. Overall great value for money.

Unfortunately the entire hotel is closed except for the apartments and golf course until the summer and possibly later bc the entire hotel is under renovation. Hotel restaurant, pools and spa are all closed. TV had no cable or tv service. Must drive to get to any restaurants or stores. Nothing is within walking distance. No hair dryer available. Had to ask reception for blankets for the beds. Apartment however, had a nice size balcony and apartment was very quiet bc the hotel is closed.

Everything was closed, bar closed and restaurant closed but when I arrived they had a wedding party. Pool closed but people in it. No air con, no WiFi in room and no working plug sockets. Went to receptionist on arrival 3 times and still wasn't sorted, waited until the next day and another receptionist who let maintenance know. Maintenance fixed air con and plug sockets eventually but WiFi still not available in the room. Maid turn down each day but didn't change sheets or towels plus left bottle of D10 in bathroom. Hotel was too far out of mar menor, 30-40 min walk or 10 euro cab away.

Positives: Location, pool area, apartment as a whole. Negatives: Mattresses far too hard, sunbeds all need replacing. Tips: Hire car a must.

Receptionist let someone push in front of us so it was a very long wait. Got woken up by drunks about 3 times all night

Unable to recieve a refund for two nights that we were unable to stay due to flight cancellation, had to purchase a further night to stay as our flight was not returning on original booking date Cleanliness of rooms completed by maids excellent Broken dishwasher fixed and replaced immediately , but room had damp spores through the living room and second bedroom and smelt damp, we requested that we be moved and this was granted from ground floor to 3rd floor, the same was apparent in this room don’t know if from air conditioning or if from leaks from room above, Hotel staff very friendly and helpful Area is beautiful and would come back

We stayed in an apartment. Which was lovely, clean and very spacious. Didn’t get water in the fridge which was disappointing. Breakfast was good lots of choice. The pool was warm. Well managed by lifeguards. The whole area was very clean. We enjoyed our stay would love to go back. Only negatives. The reception staff didn’t explain anything when we arrived and there was a language barrier as didn’t speak very good English and I’m rubbish at Spanish!

Hotel needs maintenance: air conditioning runs very poorly in rooms no cooling at all, which in summer in south Spain with temperatures over 30-35ºC most of the day is a must have. Some rooms face the highway which makes it very hard to sleep and rest properly with windows open.

Apartment was 1 bed decent kitchen and lounge area. Balcony was small and shaded, furniture was ok. Bedroom had plenty of storage, bed was queen size and comfy, shower was really good. No english TV channels but not a major ussue for me. Staff at reception and bar were friendly and helpful, pool area was good size, plenty of sun loungers, more suited families, great pool options and slides for kids.

Booked a 1 bed suite all inclusive...bath in bedroom was broken and although highlighted to staff was not resolved. However the room itself was amazing with 3 balconies and a fab shower.Did not get into room until 3pm and thought that the food did not match the quality of the room. The food was ok but a little bit canteen style rather than restaurant...big round banqueting tables and a handful of tables for 2...not the romantic getaway we expected. pool was fab and lots of sunbeds and a nice pool bar. We had a lovely stay and would go back but maybe not all inclusive unless quality improved.

We stayed for 3 nights from 31st May to 3rd June but on arrival we’re told that no facilities (pool, bar, restaurant, doors to main reception) would not be open for the first two nights of our stay as the season hadn’t started. We were not informed of this at the time of our booking or at anytime before we arrived at the hotel, so very poor and unacceptable. The hotel itself was just ok but difficult to rate facilities we didn’t have access to.

Nice hotel right next door to La Serena golf course which was perfect for us but this hotel is very quiet & a remote location, the apartment & pool area was decent but the pool bar wasn't open & the restaurant/bar was shut too, perhaps as the season progresses more becomes available, we travelled week commencing 24th April for a golf trip so for us we spent most of our time at La Serena golf opposite the hotel, overall good hotel for a quiet holiday 😎

Enjoyed our stay - was very quiet as it was out on a bit of a limb from town, but this was great as it meant we had the pool to ourselves! Would have been better if all the pool facilities were open (eg jacuzzi was empty).

This hotel is overall very good. Our room was a larger suite style room and had 3 aspects over the pool, golf courses etc, all in good order and kept clean on a daily basis. The pool area is ok, the sunbeds do need an update and there do seem to be to few of them at certain times of the day which im sure is not unusual in mid august. Theres are some strange rules regarding no balls in the pools? Not sure why balls designed to be used in pools are not allowed.. Food in the hotel was good value and plentiful in choice. Location is ok, not relalistiically walking distance to los alcazeres but taxis were easy to come by. Overall ok hotel.

Perfectly ok. Not the Mar Menor Golf resort Hotel we intended booking. Two hotels using same name led to the confusion.

This is the worst place I have ever been to. The appartment smell was soo bad so we were not able to stay so left after one night even if we had booked three nights and paid for all of them. The sofa had stains, walls and ceeiling dirty, the table in livingroom snd handles were sticky, the pool had broken tiles that could cut you. The sofa that was the extra bed looked so creepy that we rather had our kid in our bed this night we had to stay. Also aircondition has a timer that is not possible to override so it stops after 2h. The paint on the building was falling off. The Hotel need to stop renting out the appartments and do a proper renovation as the smell will not go away by only cleaning. I would not recommend this to anyone. Do not think the staff was very friendly either. I also filled in a complaint form. While doing so in the reseption, others also asked for same complaint form so it was others also being very disappointed. We did not get any refound for leaving early but waiting for Feedback on our written complaint. Not yet received any Feedback and I guess we do not get it either.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment overlooking the pool. Apartments are clean and come equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, ironing board and iron. One bedroom has a double bed and the other is a twin. Two bathrooms, one with double sink and shower and the other with shower over bath. Balcony with small table, 2 chairs and small drying rack. Lounge has a sofa bed and TV (didn’t watch it so no idea on channels). Air conditioning is very good. You do hear some noise from other apartments and from the pool but it’s not excessive and didn’t impact on our holiday at all. Bed mattresses are quite hard. There is no hairdryer and there were only 4 hangers in each wardrobe. Apartments were cleaned every day by the lovely cleaners and bed linen was changed mid week. Pool is great, there is also a kids paddling pool and a separate small pool for 2 water slides that are great for kids. Sun beds are adequate but they really need new parasols as they were often blown away due to being broken. There is a poolside bar that is reasonably priced for drinks and ice creams. The building could do with some general maintenance to paintwork, poolside toilets and to some of the steps. The vast majority of the guests are Spanish with a smattering of other nationalities. Many of the staff speak little or no English so good chance to try out your Spanish! There is a small entertainment program (magic show, kids disco, aqua fit) again all in Spanish. Lots of on street

Unfortunately on arrival they demanded €179 for a kitchen in the room the resort then flooded no not the hotels fault but the care of guests was appalling there was no electricity no food no drinks and on the 3rd day if this they transferred us to another golf resort where we had to pay extra even for towels!!! Appalling holiday overall

As hotels go this is a good one with just a couple of niggles.
