A big complex with too many appartements.

This is a fine basic residential apartment. I had a nice stay and no major problems. The wifi was fine. The kitchen is sparsely supplied. The A/C worked well. The rooms were serviced well. Sometimes the gate was unlocked and unattended at night. I think there is a sewage leak in the main parking lot, which was unpleasant. The mattress could do with being replaced. There is a nice restaurant on one side; but there is a squatter dwelling on the other side.

Upon our arrival, the apartment we reserved (and paid for) was not available. Now they refuse to provide a refund. The front desk people insisted that it was a "computer error." If so, it's THEIR problem, not mine.

Couldn't find my online booking but in spite of that, they quickly made a plan and the service was superb and very friendly.

The Residency at Jellicoe was PERFECT for our family of four. The spacious 2 BR 2 BA apartment was immaculate, contemporary and very located in a great neighborhood. The service we received was outstanding and we highly recommend it for families traveling to JoBerg! The photos on the website do not do the place justice.

There is no reception to check you in after 6pm and only a security guard, who did not give us much information. Otherwise the unit is in excellent condition.

They really just need to look at the condition of the mattresses in the units. Second time that the mattress has been below par.

Very clean, spacious and incredibly friendly and helpful staff! This place is fantastic and goes above an beyond for their guests. It is steps away from Rosebank Mall where you can get the Hop on Hop off City Bus tour of the city including every tour you could want for half the price of private tours. We had a fantastic time here.

Comfortable stay. Staff very helpful and friendly. Need new kettle in Room 107.
The element in the kettle was rusty thus no morning coffee. Location is good and very quiet.
Studio Room is small for 2 adults, I recommend Single Bedroom rather

I planned a 2 night layover in Johannesburg and enjoyed my stay at the residency. The staff were courteous and helpful. While my room was an efficient. I chose to eat in a near by restaurant near the mall. It was about a 7 minute walk. I would stay there again.

The apartment is located in the quiet and clear area of Johannesburg, close to the Gautrain Rosebank station. Our room was huge and clean. Very good wifi connection. Good kitchen amenities, comfortable bed.

One day the room was not cleaned. When I arrived the bed was undone, the sink was either the dirty mugs inside, etc; I went to reception and they took note. I was given clean towels to use.

Great place if you are planning to stay longer than your hotel stay. Lack of pool the only real downer but everything else great.

Great... but reception is only open during limited hours on weekdays. I arrived separately from my wife, and when I came to check-in they gave me a key for a different room! I tried to get the correct key but I had to run an errand and reception was busy... unfortunately when I returned later they were gone and the night guardsman was unhelpful and obstructionist. After much arguing and phone calls to managers, he finally let me in the room.

Large, spacious, clean, modern room with kitchenette. Good value for the money. Good security. Only concern was that it was on a side street with no lighting. Though we did go out after dark, didn’t feel comfortable doing so-though no one seemed to go out after dark in Rosebank anyway!

This service apartment is new and very clean. The famous Marble restaurant is just 2 minutes walk. Rosebank mall is also nearby. Our flight was late afternoon, the reception guy was gracious to allow us check out late. Highly recommended.

Nicely equipped, behind security gate. Our shower had a drain problem but otherwise very recommendable hotel. Front desk security guard was friendly but limited concierge services. I would stay there again.
