Away from the city hubbub, at the same time near every thing, the hotel is very well maintained, taking care of every single details by the owner personally, very clean, the room is very big like you are staying in a suite, the owner is operating the hotel in person, the view is crazy, the provide a free shuttle bus from the airport and the port but you need to book in advance, they provide a car rental service with a very competitive price, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Honestly from start to finish we had a fantastic stay at Hotel Alkyon. The staff was extremely attentive and warm, supporting all transfer needs across the island and giving advice on the best spots to visit.
Our room and housekeeping were exceptional too. It was super clean and sharp on arrival, with the room refreshed on a daily basis making you feel like you’ve walked into a new room every evening.
The views from the pool and breakfast area are also breathtaking! The images you see on their website and booking.com are a true reflection of the setting and experience.
Also, a great perk is that you are 10 mins away from the town of Mykonos so if things are a little busy and hectic you always know you can come back to the peace and serenity of Hotel Alykon to enjoy Mykonos!
Nothing! Such a great stay and base if you are planning on going to Mykonos.

The breakfast was very good. The location is quite central. They provide pick up to and from the port for free which is very convenient. The views from the hotel was magnificent. The hotel room was very spacious.

The location is perfect! The food and lobby are great. Staff is wonderful!
The HVAC units and phones in the rooms are probably from 1981 and that was likely the last time they were cleaned. The AC in our room smelled bad, had mold, and caused me severe congestion and breathing difficulties.

Amazing amazing views! Lovely cocktails and staff, 10 minute walk from centre.
Kettle in room would be great. The path down to the centre can be a little dangerous, especially in the dark as some of the path isn’t lit up. It wasn’t a problem for us but maybe a struggle for some people.

Location was excellent. Staff were lovely. Reception staff were friendly and informative. Free airport transfers were an absolute bonus. Next to the hotel is a walkway that leads directly into Mykonos Town. Such a beautiful place and everyone was so friendly and helpful and pleased to see us. Email communication prior to our visit was excellent
Leaving!! We were only able to stay for 2 nights, but those nights and days were wonderful. Would have loved to stay much longer

Everything! From the moment we arrived all of the staff were so helpful & friendly. they truly went above and beyond to make our stay the special experience it was; The bar man assisted with bringing in our luggage & took us to the port after our stay. The lovely lady on reception took the time to offer suggestions & recommend some things for us to do and the cleaners took the time to make up our room beautifully. The view outside on the balcony is just breathtaking, the reception area was tidy & welcoming, the pool & bar area had a great ambience but also made to feel very relaxed. the room itself had everything we needed and more with items such as toothbrush, toothpaste, sewing kit and soap included and replenished. Breakfast was also great, a good selection of items such as cereal, fruit, meats, pastries, cake, and hot brekky items such a bacon & eggs etc. The location of the property was fantastic only 10mins walk to little Venice, moments to cafes, restaurants & car/ scooter hire.
Honestly nothing! Everything exceeded our expectations.

Beautiful room and views plus lovely pool with friendly barman
A bit of a trek up hill (10-15 mins) from the centre of town if walking but not a problem if driving or catching a cab - then again that’s why you have the views!

- Unbelievable views (especially at sunset).
- Very clean, modern and spacious rooms.
- Friendly staff who allowed us to use the pool, luggage storage and shower facilities prior to a late flight.
- Free transfers to and from port/airport.
- Limited breakfast offering.
- Located at the top of a hill, so the walk back from the Old Town is a little tiring!
- Expensive drinks at the pool bar but not atypical of Mykonos in general.
- It's nice to have music by the pool but the relentless clubbing music, which was quite loud at times, was a little annoying when you just want to relax.
- We had a room with a sea view but our terrace, although very generously sized, was more of a 'side sea view' and not very private.

The key positive aspect of staying at this hotel is the location, short walk down the hill to the town.
The pool was very crowded and was not maintained very well. The stairs used to get into the pool were very loose and felt like they could give in any time. The tiles around the pool were loose as well. There are a limited set of sun beds so if one does not wake up early enough to get a sun bed, you will be left without. The breakfast was quite poor by any standard, I normally have pretty low expectations when it comes to hotel breakfasts, but this one was poorer than I expected. I would recommend not paying for breakfast at the hotel for those that value having a good breakfast and instead go to some local breakfast places that are within a 5 min walk of the hotel.

The hotel was fabulous, great spacious room with a stunning view of the town and fantastic view of the sunset over the bay. Really comfy bed. All staff were really helpful & friendly. Generous and varied breakfast available. Would definitely recommend.
The view was stunning, however what comes with this view is the long steep walk down & back up again, not for the faint-hearted! We did this twice per day, it was hard going (taxi back in the evening). I would however suggest maybe shuttles available at key points in the morning and afternoon for guests down to the town… even for a small fee. The taxi back of an evening ranged from €8-€12.

Our stay began with a complimentary pick-up from the ferry by the hotel. Our double room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very helpful. They facilitated our rental of a quad scooter and were able to provide transportation to the port when we left. Through all our stay in Greece (more than two weeks) this property won for the best breakfast selection. A wide variety of hot and cold dishes were provided, along with excellent coffee and juice, and care was taken to assure good hygiene with the buffet. Finally, the views of the ocean from the breakfast terrace and pool were sublime. Proximity to the old town, coupled with an elegant atmosphere completed our satisfaction with this property!

We stayed in the Superior top floor double room and the views were amazing! You are right on the beach so it's perfect for watching the sunset, you also have your own lounge chairs and umbrella on the beach which Spiros sets up for you everyday. There are some lovely restaurants along the beach so you don't have to walk far at all to find somewhere nice to eat. There's also a few markets that are walking distance and places to hire cars/quad bikes. There's plenty of free and easy parking nearby (about a 60 second walk) if you did hire a car or anything.
Spiros was always available to help with anything we needed. On the last day we couldn't get the bus back to the ferry terminal as we couldn't buy bus tickets so he called a taxi for us which was really helpful as we found it quite confusing. Also on the day we arrived, my brother called ahead to tell Spiros we got engaged and organised to have bubbles and a love heart made out of chocolates in our room for when we arrived which made the trip even more special. Thank you so much for that!
We'd definitely stay again! We had the best time and loved staying in Agia Anna too, we hired quad bikes and ventured up into the mountains a couple of days which was really good fun and worth the trip.
