Wanted to love this hotel, but the rooms have stairs which was difficult for my older group. You also have to enter through a small door behind a large door, take a coin-operated elevator to the 3rd floor to locate the hotel lobby which we found cumbersome, especially with luggage. Experience was not worth the price paid.

The property is brand new so the rooms and the breakfast area are good. There is more work to do to make it perfect, but the new bedrooms are very nice. Anna was very helpful, breakfast was great, and the room temps were adequate.

This apartment service with breakfast is listed at hotels.cim as a hotel with bar and restaurant - it has neither. Not even a reception or place to relax outside your room. The rooms are nice and fresh - and the location is prime. Breakfast was nice but very very crowded if more than two rooms should decide to eat at a time. We had chosen differently if we knew - but had a great stay.

The property may seem dangerous from the outside because of the natural surroundings but behind the gates it's very safe and it is a unique hotel that starts on the third floor with a historic elevator that brings you up... the staff was tremendous ..Mauricio the night manager and everyone else there very accommodating. Historic rooms all unique.

This hotel service was excellent, breakfast was great, and the room was new and refreshing. This place is conveniently located in the middle of “downtown” Napoli. There are some drawbacks, the internet service is spotty and did not work many times… a huge inconvenience when we use our phones for maps, restaurants recommendations, booking taxis, etc. There’s also a $0.10 coin that is needed to go and down the elevator (which they provide for) that seems dated. Finally, our room’s main bed was in a loft. VERY inconvenient when having to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night when half asleep and really difficult to do if one is an elderly person.

The staff was not friendly. The Wi-Fi at night was spotty, no WIFi the last night of our stay. One person said wine was included, but then we were charged at the end. I will not stay there again.

The hotel is beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was nice, but the unfriendly staff kind of ruins the experience. Also, our mini fridge was not working throughout our stay, and we really needed it for some small food items. We let them know, but they did not attempt to fix it or replace it.

Amazing breakfast…best of all of the stays on our trip through Italy. Very well located near sights, restaurants, and shopping. Make sure to show up with .10 cent for the elevator. They will give you more once you check in.

It was unique and welcoming. Super well located to go and see the city by walking! Staff was accommodating and helpful. Great breakfast. And despite being on such a major shopping street (and when Napoli had just won the championship) it was very quiet in our room!

What a place! I was a bit hesitant due to the recent reviews but my husband and I booked it anyway as it looked like a very central location and we do not regret it at all! The building looks normal on the outside and you walk in and the interior is worn down like every building in Naples. Once we get to the floor where the hotel is located and I was in Awe! Beautiful dining area, clean rooms and friendly staff! I would definitely stay here again. A lot of the major sites are walking distance and theres a delicious gelateria downstairs too!

Top top hotel in Napoli! Beautiful in the inside and best location! Highly recommended. The stuff are super nice and they even give me free upgrade! Rooms are big and decoration is amazing.

confusing to get to the room. Reception was shut. When I got to speak to a person they made me feel like booking me a taxi would be a hassle for them. Couldn't even FIND breakfast. The room was far, far too big - it was like sleeping in an abandoned warehouse. Also needed repair on the walls, and was generally just really ugly.

Big rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast. Of all the places I visited in Italy, Naples was my least favorite, very dirty and looks run down. I will not go back to Naples.

Great location, surprisingly modern amenities behind the big old door of this former mansion, and plenty of outlets. Will never forget our first impressions: an 18-inch thick, 5-foot high access door cut into the imposing front door and the need to deposit 10 cents to get the elevator to 3rd floor reception desk. (We were there on holiday, so the need for 10 cents was waived.)

A wonderful small hotel in a beautifully converted Palazzo in central Naples. So quiet despite the busy main street outside. Comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast and friendly, professional staff.

Relais Della Porta is a historical building (home of a 16th century scientist and philosopher) converted into a beautiful B&B apartments. The location is great, with many eateries and transport options nearby. Breakfast each day is substantial (full Italian breakfast with cooked American options). Staff are very friendly and helpful.

It feels as old as it is which is what we like. Well upgraded to be very comfortable but with a sense of history. Well located in a the vibrant Spanish Quarter. Looking forward to returning in six days. Ciao 😁

This is a lovely place to stay in central Naples. Our room was HUGE, with a giant bathroom. The breakfast was excellent. The metro is very close, and you are walking distance to the Archaeological Museum and the good pizza places on Via dei Tribunali. Just note that, because the inn is in an old building, there is a very "quaint" elevator, which costs 10 cents to ride! (The inn will gladly give you coins). And, after business hours, the street door of the palazzo is locked, and you will have to enter with a code through a tiny opening.

This hotel is in an old building in the center of town. The room was clean, service hospitable and the breakfast very nice. However, If u get in by car, there is nowhere to park or even wait. They need to come downstairs and help you with luggage while you go to park... their "affiliated" lot didn't honor the quoted price and was a walk away...

it is a very good hotel. The staff is excellent and always available to help. The breakfast is excellent, with a nice choice. The location is perfect since is in the city center in the middle of via Toledo. The only disadvantage, it maybe the car parking space (sometime difficult to find on the street or to book in advance with a local garage)
