Beautiful property, delicious breakfast and wonderful hosts. We are looking forward to coming back and staying at Vila Vitorino at the end of our trip before we fly home. Great location and just an Uber away to anywhere you need to go. Highly recommend the restaurant that was recommended to us by the hosts - Moinho Dom Quixote - the view and food were incredible.

The service was a disaster, pushing and creating tension. From luggage carriage, to decision on breakfast time, everything was meant to please the host and not the guests. Clearly someone who likes to be served and shouldn't be working in hospitality. The property is nice.

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Vitorino. Pros: It is absolutely stunning. A house from the 16th century turned into a hotel. The grounds are beautiful, the hotel is luxurious, clean, beautiful. The breakfast was good. Cons: It is right on the corner of a very busy street. The traffic woke us up at 6am. The parking is very limited. If you come back late at night, there might be no space for you to park. The staff was not very kind or inviting. We went to check in at 2:50 pm. The whole place was locked. There was no one. When the reception person showed up, he was less than inviting. Started doing his chores and did not even talk to me for 10 min until the clock turned 3pm. So, in a summary, great place but staff can work on being more welcoming. :)

Loved this place! Lots of character and interesting decor, comfy bed, nice bathroom, fantastic breakfast spread, decent Wi-Fi, secure parking and was a great base camp to explore Sintra. But the owner and staff were the best part. I had a terrible migraine one day and they were bending over backwards to try and help me and offered ice packs & medication, and asked how I was the next day. It’s hard to be sick away from home, and to have them be that nice and compassionate meant a lot to me. I would have left 5 stars even if I hadn’t been sick, but know you’ll be in good hands with really nice people.

This was a charming stay with friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. It was a little far from Sintra for a walk, but an Uber ride took care of that issue. You can take a nice little walk down the street to a cafe.

Superb villa, large room, modern bathroom. Very clean, premium amenities. On site private parking. Very good breakfast. Very efficient AC. Excellent service. Highly recommended.

Vila Vitorino is an extremely unusual property. Sumptuous and luxurious decor abounds in a restored chateau-style home. there are several beautifully decorated common rooms that feel like you might be a minor member of the royal family. There is a lovely little pool and seating area. the garden and grounds are charming. Our room was beautiful, bright. comfortable beds, stylish seating area, rain-head shower with amazing water pressure, heated towel rack. We had a rental car so the parking was very very helpful. The staff and owner couldn't have been kinder. Breakfast is delicious and served in a beautiful room. To get around we booked a taxi that met us at the Vila and we walked to most of the things we wanted to see and then took a taxi home. It was so worth the stay even if you are out of the immediate sintra central by a little bit. The place is worth a visit. I'd like to go back.The area around the vila, colares, is a lovely place with great food just a few minutes drive down the road - souldough pizza, amazing pasta, sushi.

Absolutely beautiful immaculate house with a fabulous collection of eclectic art. Mr Vitorino was hugely welcoming and accommodating despite us arriving midday and leaving early the next morning (left a fabulous breakfast for us which we very much appreciated). Would have loved to have stayed longer to appreciate the wonderful amenities including the garden and swimming pool.

Unbelievable stay. Beautifully restored home with lovely rooms and modern baths. The owner was so accommodating and kind. Breakfast was perfect if you were hungry or just wanted to snack. Perfectly situated between Sintra and the coast.

We had an amazing stay at Vila Vitorino, the room was amazing with a classic design, beautiful chandeliers and views of the mountains. We loved the eye for detail in the house and the welcoming service from the staff! It's the small things that made our stay even better: being offered a glass of (port) wine in beautiful wine glasses upon arrival, being offered some tea when we came back cold from the beach, a very comfy bed and an amazing-amazing breakfast with the best fresh apple pie! We had a tiny issue with the shower not getting hotter (it did get warm but not super warm) but once we mentioned it to the staff, they worked immediately to change and improve this! We had an outstanding stay at vila Vitorino and would definitely recommend to stay here!

My all too brief stay here was perfect... The owner upgraded the room without a charge, without even asking if we wanted an upgrade... and the included breakfast was delicious... felt like i was visiting friends, the place was THAT cozy!

Very classy place, 5 star ! Small enough to make it personal. Staff & owner lovely people, kept checking with us throughout our Oct / Nov 14 night stay. When the weather changed for the worse the staff warmed our room ready for our return in the evenings. Breakfast, again personal - great coffee! and cakes. I would recommend this Hotel, for the quality, friendly service and its close location to many of the places, beaches you must visit while in Sintra Very small recommendation - to have tea and coffee making facilities in each rooms

The Villa is spectacular in its renovated state. The rooms are comfortable and modern with nice amenities. MR. Vitorino was a wonderful and gracious host. You feel like royalty staying in his home and the breakfast that is all done in house is the most wonderful experience of the whole stay. Bravo to Villa Vitorino and it’s staff!!

Fresh pastries when we arrived in our room, phenomenal breakfast in the morning, the most comfortable bed, large room, and the best tea Ive ever had. Also, plenty of room for parking. Better than staying in Sintra and the town is lovely. Thank you for your hospitality!

Stunning well decorated vila in the middle of sintra park, close to the village and hidden away from tourists. Only downside is the area around the property has extremely narrow roads with cars speeding around. The vila itself is so great, breakfast is tasty.
