we had a great time, I loved the river view from the balcony the stuff was very friendly.
a few things weren't working when we got there but they took care of it they even when beyond to provide a microwave we really needed at no cost.
the area around the hotel and the way to the hotel is very scary and ugly.

Tupa Lodge is a beautiful facility! The staff is helpful and accommodating. The views are idyllic and the property is quiet and relaxing. It is important to know that it is out of the way from both the town center and the national park. You will pay more for transportation anywhere including simply going into town to use the park bus service, and group tours that normally include pickup will NOT pickup at Tupa. If you’re willing to pay a driver, the staff is happy to make arrangements and recommendations, and we were well cared for the duration of our stay. Have the empanadas for merienda! They are amazing!

This property is beautiful, right at the edge of the Parana River and the border with Paraguay. Our room was huge with beautiful wood panelling, white tiled floors, and a stunning floor to ceiling glass wall overlooking the infinity pool and the river beyond. Plenty of space, with a true king bed ("king" beds are not always as advertised in South America, in our experience), two smaller ones. Nice, modern bathroom, although with some signs of wear. Getting to the property was a bit of an adventure, with dirt and rough roads the last mile or so. Food options are minimal, with only a basic continental breakfast. Takes about 20 minutes to get to the main drag in town, where dining options were surprisingly good. One quibble: a weird sewer smell in our room, which was temporarily masked with cleaning agents.

Tupa Lodge is such a great place to stay. Not the most luxurious, but the location, the staff and the environment makes it a unique hotel well worth staying at. Would definitely stay again!

The Tupa Lodge has a lot of potential but is missing the mark. The location is very secluded and it in the nature which is beautiful, but the dinning options are very limited for a hotel that is far away from town. The breakfast did not have any vegetables and the one evening we stayed for dinner, they were missing too many things on the menu. There are glass railings around the bungalow porches and pool but they are not clean. Too, bad. Most of the staff was really great and very accommodating but it was difficult to communicate in English. One of the wait staff just said "No" if she didn't understand us instead of trying to understand how to help us. It's a shame because the place is really beautiful.

We were so excited for our stay here and had spent more for a luxury stay whilst in Iguazu. The property is remote from the town and that is okay as you get that feeling of being closer to nature, however despite a beautiful property we were super disappointed with our stay for other reasons.
There were no English speaking staff, or any attempt from the staff to really communicate with us even via translator. The catering was really poor - a very limited menu with few things actually available from it, we could have cooked better ourselves. The menu is only available through QR code but the site doesn’t work and is missing many dishes from it too, would be so much better to just have one printed as the one staff member working seemed to not know the options. There was also only limited drink options, we had seen many great pictures on social media of cocktails and delicious meals but none of that was seen in reality.
We also had no hot water in our room, we called for help and the staff said they’d fix it but nobody ever came back, we then told the front desk twice and just nothing was done about it. Not sure if this was a language barrier, but in a luxury hotel was an incredibly poor experience with no offer of help.
I don’t normally write reviews but I felt here important to flag to people so others aren’t as disappointed as we were, we wished we had just stayed in a cheaper option in the centre of town as it didn’t deliver on our Iguazu retreat dreams sadly.

Being in the rain forest overlooking the river and Paraguay was very special

Room was excellent and loved the surroundings. Didn’t know anything about a hotel shuttle service till I was filling in this survey. That’s disappointing.
I’d stay again.

Loved the hotel, the room was big, clean and the beds and pillows very confortable.
The staff very nice, friendly and helpful. the food was good, limited options.
The hotel is far, once we got to the hotel after visiting the falls or any other day trip, we did not go out again.
We used Aguas Grandes agency to do all the tours, they picked us up at the hotel and after the tour drop us off at the hotel again.

This is a smaller property with personal, attentive service. The view from the pool is excellent and very relaxing. A pleasant surprise was the quality of the food in the dining room, including some of the best risotto ever.

This hotel is super bad and they charge over prices for food and service. We where not happy at all for the service. They didn’t even have busses to the park, just over priced taxis. Food was very bad. We would never go bad. No maddreses in the tanning chairs, not comfortable at all. Horrible experience.

The photos don't do it justice. Great place to unwind. Yes, it's not near the center of town, but they quickly arrange transfers if you want to go anywhere. Sitting on the deck with a glass of wine watching the sun set was lovely. The restaurant was great - both food and service. Lots of the furniture is handmade from salvaged logs - it's very nice to look at. Highly recommended, unique place.

The Tupa Lodge was an amazing, secluded spot. The views were stunning and the staff were great. They helped line up a private tour to Iguazu Falls which included luggage care and transporting to the airport after. Dinner was so delicious too. One of our best meals of our South American trip! I wish we stayed longer.

Wow, what a great experience this was. The hotel is fabulous, amazing, beautiful, super clean, super friendly staff, and the most magical view from every room in the complex. The bags, pillows and bedding were extremely clean and super comfortable. It was an amazing surprise in the middle of the jungle and, if we ever go back to the Syria, we would stay here in a heartbeat.
The staff was super friendly and helped us with all our needs. Even help us find the car and driver for the day I don’t really reasonable rate. The staff at the restaurant was amazing and all of the food was over-the-top perfect.

Brand new resort, excellent service and staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Chef prepared fantastic meals ... 5-star ... wonderful amenities ... great location to unwind and relax by pool; great dinners and within commute for Iguazú Falls full day tour.

The rooms are great. We had 2 king size beds in our room and it overlooked the river.
