I recently stayed at a hostel in Gothenburg, and I must say it was a great experience. The cleanliness of the hostel was impressive, and the staff members were extremely helpful and kind. The best part was that it offered excellent value for the price. The hostel felt safe, which was important to me, and I appreciated the well-equipped kitchen that had everything I needed for cooking. Additionally, the hostel had a lovely patio and living room area, which created a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, I highly recommend this hostel for its cleanliness, helpful staff, and convenient amenities. Enough showers and toilets everywhere... don't be afraid you won't need to wait.

Excellent breakfast, very clean bathrooms, and very clean kitchen for cooking on each floor. Nice area to sit and gather in the lobby and outside in the garden and near our bedroom. Staff were exceptional in their helpfulness and friendliness. Luggage storage was easy. Getting in and out after hours was easy with the key card. Location Was very convenient to all attractions in city center. Easy to find on map apps.

Nice old building with a pretty courtyard (and cherry tree!). Good clean, simple rooms and facilities. There were both young backpackers and families with small children, so it caters to various ages.

There are a lot of roadworks happening in Gothenburg at the moment, so the tram isn't going as close, and I found it a bit hard to get there from the central station with a heavy suitcase. I ended up taking a taxi as I was already so tired from traveling, which cost a lot! So make sure you research public transport in advance :) There is always (often) someone noisy at a hostel, in this case it was a kid watching movies at high volume with no headphones :( so we had to close the windows in the room even though it was a warm evening. With the windows closed the noise wasn't so bad.

hotel is clean，but faar aawaay froom the city centre

They forced me to change the room which dose not match the room I booked, no any information about my room changing and if you asked for more they can only answer you sorry I do not know what happened. They had all my information but unfortunately they even do not know to send me a message or a email to inform me that room will be changed. Very bad experience with this hotel and no recommandés at all ! ! !

A charming little hostel not far away from the centre of town, staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Kitchen, dining and lounge facilities also all in good condition.

Staff was friendly and offered free luggage storage before check-in. The room was in good condition, and included a sink. The kitchen was also well-equipped.

so I would like to share the experience about the property. As my flight for Sweden was delayed, so I arrived late in the country and followed the directions to my hostel. But because I arrived late, I had to self-check in, so I followed the directions and couldn't check in through the building door with the hostel name on it. I walked by and noticed a couple of doors with the same name, so I tried each one but had no luck. So at midnight, I'm doing all this hustling, contacting the property, and they're telling me to try different codes to get in, but I'm still having trouble. Fortunately, someone in a similar circumstance accompanied me, and we both struggled to try our luck. The building next to it also reads the hostel and ‘vandrarhem’ which means hostel in Swedish, but there is no name of the hostel that I had booked. But after all the travel and exhaustion, we were willing to try anything, so we just entered the code in the next building and it worked. plus the wifi mentioned on the keycard was not working and changed . so the name of the property should be highlighted and if any changes then the email should be sent with the updates.

Highly recommended dwelling spot for tourists who are eager to be acquainted with the more authentic part of Gothenburg. This area (Majorna) isn't excessively touristic and you get more of a genuine "feel" of the Gothenburg atmosphere vis-a-vis where several other lodging spots closer to Avenyn and The Central Station are located.
