The linens on one of the beds either had stains or had not been changed. The reading chair was also stained with some kind of liquid it looked like. There was some mold in the shower. It was a cheap rate so not too upset, understanding that you get what you pay for. Good location, close to everything.

We stayed for 3 nights while evacuating from the eye of the Hurricane Milton back in Ellenton Florida. The hotel was consistent in our expectations from La Quinta hotels.

Room was acceptable for the price. Staff was nice, area seemed safe and the one-night stay was fine. The room smelled dank and there was mold in the bathroom over the shower area. An average room for a fair price.

Terrible. Person that checked us in was on a personal call and ignored us the whole time til she was done. The bed sheets were wet and when we asked for new bedding they didn’t want to take the time to give us new sheets. There was no breakfast and the ice machine was broken and when I asked the lady if there was another machine she rolled her eyes at me. No hot water half our stay and when I left a message to speak to the assistant manager nothing was done. No call to us no offer of half our money back nothing.

Lady at the front desk was extremely rude. Our room flooded our first night. Stayed for 5 nights and the room was never cleaned. Had to keep asking for towels. Room key card had to be replaced after every use. Will never stay again

Bathtub had what looked like mold between tub and tile.
Hot water was cold by the time I finished my shower.
Asked for a room change because bed was not comfortable. She said all rooms taken and she couldn’t move me. She was sitting down when I came in to check in… did not greet me or smile. No customer service attitude. When I checked out this morning different receptionist but no customer service attitude.
I like to be greeted and asked how was my stay or safe travels. Nothing from these folks.

No daily house keeping or change of sheets. Found ants on Day 2 but to the staffs credit they resolved it quickly with spray and changing the sheets. Breakfast is basic and to the point (coffee, eggs, paddy sausage, cereals, ect). Pool and Jacuzzi was clean but average.

The back parking lot has many lights out, so its dark and unsafe. We had ants in the room so my coffee cup was covered in ants. The hottub felt great but the accessibility chair is stuck down in hottub. They turned off the water for the hotel to do maintenance, but didnt say anything, so i didnt get to shower or brush my teeth. Its a clean decent hotel for the price, and we have stayed before. The staff is friendly.

What a terrible hotel. Shocked to see other people gave it a high rating. I booked a room 5 months in advance. It was supposed to be ready by 3pm. I had to settle for another room. The smell of the room was like a pesticide factory. The room still had roaches. The policy is to clean your room after 4 days. No wonder why La Quita has a roach problem. Only one ice machine was working in the building and it was on the 3rd floor. The fitness had 5 pieces of equipment. All of the equipment was at least 30 years old. 2 treadmills and 1 bicycle that didn't work so, I had to go outdoors to work out! It was cooler outside anyway because the air conditioner was unplugged with 12 screws sitting on top of it. It probably hasn't worked in years. No need to work when none of the equipment works. The outside door that takes to the swimming pool didn't work. If you went outside to the pool area, you better make sure someone is around to let you back inside or you had to walk all the way around the hotel to the front lobby to get back in. I wanted to leave the first day but, I would have lost 4 days of that I had already paid for. I learned a very valuable lesson. Any hotel that won't reimburse you your money if you're not happy with their service, it's for a reason. They already know their hotel is terrible and once you are there you will want to stay somewhere.

I thought the property had good reviews upon booking. When checking in the hotel seemed ok. However, our room had a horrible odor and water coming from the air unit. The smell was so bad we requested to change rooms. They sent maintenance to work on the unit and said they didn’t have a room we could move too. The smell did get better once old water was cleaned up. Housekeeping did not come in to change out towels or change trash, we had to retrieve those when needed. The ice machines did not work, breakfast was horrible that was served and they didn’t have many options. Our shower also leaked and puddled into the floor. Overall, I would choose a different location and hotel next time.

The area was okay, the hotel was decent enough to stay but the customer service of the staff was terrible! The front desk was so rude and just awful. The ice machine didn't work and breakfast was suppose to be until 10 but they only had a couple of things left at 9.

I got in at 0245, that's 245am. My room faces east at 0700 I was waken by the sun. Could eat breakfast, fasting for bloodwork later. All in all good room, good price, I was pleased with it.

Nothing. It’s been the most unprofessional place I have stay. The first day I got there it was dirty they don’t check the room before they give them to you there was rats in the room. I ask them to clean my room 2 time and they only did the bed and put towels they didn’t clean nothing. Food was most nasty food you can get there was hair in my food. Did I mention there was rats in my room, and in my walls

Had a great stay, we got a suite but the ac in the “living room” section didn’t work & we were stuck with only 1 lamp in there, it was dark all the time. Other than that staff was friendly, pool was great, I had a great time.

Front desk was nice to us and the pool was clean and beds were comfortable but breakfast was so sad and cold and limited as well as the cleanliness of the bathroom was really concerning, I’m pretty sure there was mold in the bathtub and you can tell it’s a overall hotel problem , it’s only 8 mins ish from the beach public access so it’s not far and it’s fairly close to gas and groceries so not the worst hotel we stayed at but we probably wouldn’t come again unfortunately, the mold and not being clean was a huge deal for us considering I was pregnant and had a kid with me it’s a matter of health safety , the property really should even be allowed to be open with conditions like that ! My husband is a health inspector back in Georgia back home and he was mortified on how the staff thinks they clean because it wasn’t clean at all but instead of causing a big commotion I begged him to just try and relax and try to enjoy the rest of our stay , we really only came back to the hotel to sleep and that’s it

Property was nice , AC leaked the entire time , drapes were cheap and off track . No body wash , shampoo or conditioner was not part of the amenities. I bought 2 sodas and 2 bags of chips , ridiculously priced Now to staff , oh my goodness ! Upon entering the hotel the front desk attendant did not care to great me nor cared to help until I looked at her after waiting at the desk . She finally asked , how can she help me ! I said , I have a reservation , her response was check in is not till 3 pm , it was 2:15 pm , I asked about early check in of course that was a Fee , after that I was asked who am I traveling with , Myself my husband and my dog . The response was your dog has an additional fee plus tax per night which was never mentioned during reservation . When I tell you she ruined my whole visit by her nasty demeanor, I asked for the managers number she gave me a random number and when I texted that number the person said, wrong number !! Do yourself a favor and go to any other hotel this place needs to replace staff and really work on customers first !!!
