Had a good couple of days in the ibis as we were down for the Billy Joel concert room was small but ample for my daughter and I had a great sleep staff were friendly and helpful I would book

We wanted a stop over on our way from London to Fishguard and somewhere close to the M4. This place ticked that box. That was it. The outside was filthy dirty and has a grim exterior, okay its right next to the motorway. I was travelling with my 2 young children, a packed car and a roof box. We pulled up in the car park and it was clear that this place didn't warrant a "hotel" status. There were several unsavoury people hanging around outside. It had a "bad part of town" feeling. I was contemplating checking out the room as we were only technically staying there a few hours, we just needed to sleep, plus it was paid for and non refundable. When my daughter said "mummy I don't think its safe here" it confirmed my thoughts. I got on my phone and booked a Premiere Inn 30 minutes up the M4 which was perfect. It felt safe, we were given a friendly welcome and everything was spotless. I should of done this in the first place. I appreciate it is a Budget Hotel but its not good. If you're travelling with children I don't recommend it. I've since learned there are plenty other places to stay that are more suitable. I wish I had read more reviews before booking, they confirm what I thought its not a safe place to stay especially with children.

Stay at Ibis was good. Had a continental breakfast wasn't the best choice. Lift was out of order on morning of departure so struggled downstairs.

The location is quite good and it's a walking distance to some good resto and grocery shops

Appreciate it’s the lower end of the scale for cost but there’s no excuse for dirty rooms. From the bathroom to the shower, the room was dirty. The bed was in a terrible state with a very worn mattress. Just not a good place to stay. Key cards kept failing requiring frequent visits back to reception

Seemed to be a lot of people there who were possibly there only as they had. O where else to live, corridor stank of cigarettes

The shower was cold and you step directly from the bedroom floor into the shower cubicle. Lino flooring in the rooms no carpet, floor was dirty, cobwebs in the corners. The bunk bed stairs were a vertical ladder very narrow and difficult to climb, especially going down At breakfast the public toilets were in the dinning area and the door was wedged open by the cleaner during breakfast so we had the delightful view of the exposed toilets while eating breakfast. I got up and closed the door but the cleaner promptly returned, wedged the door open again and left it

I think there may be prisons nicer than the room I stayed in

For a budget hotel the facilities were basic which I sort of expected but the price was not budget at £109 per night . Sorry but I won’t be stopping here again .

Room was clean and compact we had a triple room. Tea and coffee in the room and a tv. Toilet was very low and in a tiny room of its own wobbly seat. Shower cubicle was stand alone in the room so you had to step out and dry in front of family but good shower and soap provided. Sink in bedroom too. Air conditioning. Did look a little prison like due to Fence and they clearly rent rooms to homeless. Staff were lovely cheerful and helpful. Continental breakfast and coffee good, wouldn’t pay the £8.50 for it but booked on line and worked out £3 each perfect. Plenty of free parking. Well worth the cheap rate. 3 nights for 3 of us with breakfast £200 in June. Weather was amazing too. Thankyou

Very friendly and helpful staff

Last minute booking of accessible room due to having hose in shower (bit if flareup) but awesome and comfortable. No fuss, early check in, secure, private and simply really impressed (for the price i paid!)

The staff were helpful kind & funny!! We had a lovely welcome. The room was clean & just as we would expect for a dog friendly room. Comfy bed & great shower what more do you need for a one night stopover? We will definitely return one day on our travels

The building itself is clean and tidy, the area outside of the property could do with tidying up.

There were vans occupying the majority of the car park even though there was another car park for vans. When i questioned why they were allowing this the response was because they cannot enforce it !

Staff amazing small cosy comfy room clean perfect parking. I would recommend to anyone on a small trip. Continental breakfast delicious and very affordable .

It’s a budget hotel but the staff were rally friendly and helpful, room clean, quiet and bed comfy.

Stayed here after our Cardiff hotel got cancelled on rugby weekend. £10 taxi from hotel to train station, £5 return into Cardiff central, and easy to get a taxi back at 11pm. Receptionists were really kind and lovely. Hotel rooms were clean and tidy, fine for one night. Weird toilet/shower situation so wouldn’t want to stay here with friends. Would consider staying here again for a cheaper option than Cardiff.

The staff have to be the best of the best. From checking in to checking out and everything in between. The staff were friendly professional and willing to go extra mile. Nothing is too much trouble and bonus is this IBIS unlike other budget IBIS has a kettle in the room. It’s the small touches that make the difference.

It is a budget hotel, so that would obviously be limiting a few things. The heating was broken, but they very kindly gave me a heater. It could’ve been a bit cleaner, a bit fresher, but it was comfortable warm and quiet and now my three main basic requirements. The software, particularly friendly and helpful.

Located right next to motorway. Not enough parking on site. Very basic, rundown and unclean. The room smelled of drains and the bedding smelled of smoke. The layout of the small rooms is terrible.

Loved it lovely staff thay make youre stay here all that more special.

For a budget hotel it contained everything we needed for one night. The only negative was the toilet was very low with no handle on the wall to pull myself up. As I am disabled I found this a bit tricky. The staff were all lovely, very friendly and capable
