Beds were comfortable and it was clean. Only issue was that there was some sort of party happening that lasted until after 11pm. There was awful singing that sounded like he was in the room with us.

The young lady that checked us in on the phone was exceptional. She took in consideration my issue at hand and was able to help us move in earlier and was just so amazing. Can’t thank her enough..

I stay here all the time and never have a problem with the contactless check-in but yesterday never received my room number and code. I called the phone number and had a conversation with a woman who tried to blame third party vendor for not receiving my information and asked me a lot of identifier questions when I told her repeatedly that I had a confirmation number. She was border-line rude and repeatedly tried to blame Expedia/Hotels.com.

The room was okay, but small and a little worn. location is noce. My biggest issue was having no staff on site in the evening. Check-in was not as easy as it sounds. There were some people hangingin out in the parking lot. I don;t htink that woudl have happened with staff on site. It was okay, but I probabaly will nto stay there again. It is affordable for the area.

Wanted a hotel close to where we the following morning! Should have realized from the get go I was making a bad choice, Hi Ho Motel! Contactless reservations? What’s that, what’s that about, never heard of it! So I gave it a try! Was not a simple procedure, but I persevered! Now I should have quit then, jumping through hoops on line contactless reservation! I persevered! After following instructions, 2 phone calls, entering all my personal information I’m able to print out a receipt! Not very confident all is well! Finally arrived at this “Hotel Hi Ho”!
It’s a two story “motel”! There’s a liquor store on the ground floor with steps descending to a Wine Bar! What a dump! Now to inform the contactless person that we have arrived! Wait for another email for the next instructions! Email arrives, more questions and pay again, first time I paid didn’t count??? Jumped through another hoop! By the way there was another man trying to check in also! He called the contactless helpline on the door of what appears to lead to the former “check in desk” of a real motel! His phone call was successful! Got his room # and door lock code! Now I receive a email with my room number and door lock code! Great! Our room is next to the liquor store! Not good! Enter the small room! Had a chair, king size mattress on an oversized platform or the mattress was undersized! The furniture was worn! Lighting was harsh, shower door handle missing a fastener! We stuck it out, and the noise! No happy!!!

Contactless check-in can be really convenient except the email to begin the process didn't come. Once I got there and saw the number to call on the office door I had to call to get it. It came pretty quick but after that I had to wait for another email for the info to get into the room. It was pretty late and dark so I waited about 10 minutes then called back to ask about the email and the person who picked up the phone was clearly annoyed. I told him I was alone and it was dark and I would appreciate if he would just give me the information to get into the room which he did with an attitude. That email with the information came 25 minutes later. I would've been standing there for that long waiting had I not called.
Got inside and the hotel was average. Not worth the drama.

Everything was fine other than the rooms on the other side of our bathroom where there were clearly kids having a party until 1pm and I’d be surprised if police weren’t eventually called. On-site Staff is very helpful even though this is a contact-less property.

Our room was clean and comfortable nothing fancy but perfect for a quick overnight visit

Cute hotel. Nothing fancy but was clean and close to campuses which we were looking for. Has a wine bar on the first floor which got loud but didn’t bother us. Easy check in and check out!
One improved would be better pillows!

Was in a hotel block and rate would imply a nice hotel. Indeed it is a motel that is now called a Luxury Boutique Hotel. What a joke- it was clean but tired and room dark, no safe and right off expressway, contactless check in did not work. Sat on hold 35 min before someone could help. Demanded a move to their other property The Circle Hotel. Much better and same price

The room is teeny. Bumpers on bed so you don’t hurt your legs moving around. Furniture scratched, torn, broken. The liquor store - unassociated w/hotel was next door to our room. Talking to locals this WAS a hotel rented by the hour…and has a reputation. The owners came in, threw some paint up…and did nothing more…and WE ARE HERE for our Son’s Wedding. The “contract” price was $208 plus tax for the wedding. Two nights $500. This was EGREGIOUS. We stayed the first night thru hotel dot com for $124. After driving from Chicago, we stayed put night one. IN a NO CONTACT hotel it was NEAR impossible to get any help or assistance. Waiting on the phone for over 20 minutes to get help. We had NO issues with Fire Dept. and It is a KNOWN issue. After MY Shower, I stayed put IN the Bathroom until the STEAM evaporated SO as not to set off fire alarms. There is a SIGN IN Bathroom with directions to do this. I am NOT a “picky” person. Truly. And for $250/night one is entitled to Furniture that is not janky. To human contact. To a shower that doesn’t hold one hostage. To a room that is not TEENY. OH and the 3rd floor “deck” is three small tables and chairs outside of room doors overlooking the parking lot. A BEAUTIFUL area of the country. DO NOT STAY HERE. UNLESS it is December. THEN it is $41/night. That is reasonable because that is all that it is Worth. The owners NEED to make repairs. PUT IN NEW Toilet seats, furniture and blow out some walls. AWFUL. Cigarette butts on stairway in.

The fire alarm kept going off in the middle of the night, ruined my sleep. I went to work late, defeated the whole purpose of me getting a hotel.

Probably one of the best properties I’ve ever stayed in. Great place.

Love the Barcelona downstairs. The rest is hard to rate because there is no people interaction. Garbage in the back lot of a bit of a mess, but comfy beds and pillows and overall a good stay.

There was a big gap between our door and the frame so every outside noise felt like it was in our room. The instructions to keep the bathroom door closed while showering, because the fire alarms are too sensitive, was odd, to say the least. Not sure why they can’t install fire alarms that work,
while allowing guests the ability to shower as they please. The fire alarm at 1:30 am didn’t help, but that wasn’t the fault of the property. Will not stay there again.

This is truly a shame that this property advertises itself the way they do. It is not worth the price at all. 3 fire alarms went on during our 3 nights stay - due to a very sensitive sensors I guess but anytime someone take a shower the chance to trigger is there - it happened at 930pm and another one at 130am and lasted 25 minutes. Dirty and noisy, bad check in process as well. We won’t return for sure and please don’t get fooled

Cleaning crew forgot to shut the door to the unit. Was open all day. Pretty loud at night. Stayed here 4x. This was the only bad stay.

This hotel was perfect for our one-night stay during a long drive. So easy to check in and the room was updated and just right. Would definitely stay here again.

I love the location of this hotel. The contactless check in & check out are very easy. The room is clean and comfortable. The internet is quick and reliable.

Could not check in. No assistance. No one to answer your telephone call. No help available. Never got into a room. They refuse to refund money. Hotels.com was no help either. Stranded on the streets. Shame. What benefits to using them again.

I’ve stayed here many times before and my stays have always been without issues. This last time I got a room with a connecting door to the room next door. I couldn’t sleep all night thinking someone from next door was just going to barge into my room

No microwave no refrigerator broken tv for 2 nights bad WiFi no management and service

The rooms were nice, but we came on a Sunday evening. Check-in was rough. No cell service there (Verizon) and hotel WiFi was glitchy. Had to drive 10 minutes away to get service to do contactless checkin. Ok after that.

Costomer service so bad

No front desk was inconvenient, I was unaware when booking that it was contactless check in (oversight on my part, I admit) however when I walked into the main door staff ignored myself and my friend for 5 minutes. Management was reprimanding staff and we stood there for 5 minutes and no one acknowledged us.

The Hi Ho was fine. Run was clean. The contactless check in was somewhat odd. Of course i'd have preferred a breakfast option. if you are in the area to see other things and have a packed scedule, it is a great place to crash for the night!

We stay for three nights. There was no daily housekeeping (as mentioned in the description). I called to ask and they said it’s not done daily but I think only on Thursdays. Also, somewhere it’s written that there’s a lounge with free coffee, there’s a lounge with stools, tables and ice. There’s a mini coffee machine in the room. I asked about it and they told me there’s no free coffee on the lounge. The room it’s okay, really small and, no mini fridge. The wifi and TV worked well, no complaints. The A/C was so old and noisy!!! The worst of all the stay. The carpets are also very used and looked kind of dirty and old. The fire alarm woke us up at 7am on Sunday, there was no staff around whatsoever to explain or assist, it seemed to be a false alarm. The check in and check out is done all via email, so it’s quick and simple. The area is quiet and there are plenty of stores, gas stations and restaurants within a short driving distance. If I have to stay again I will pick a bigger room. For the price, I think they could invest on some urgent very needed renovations.

Was visiting friends nearby and Hi-Ho was the closest place to stay. Very cute and updated retro motel. Great attached wine bar and Spanish restaurant. No contact hotel so you can't get extra towels or anything like that but I'd definitely stay again!

We knew the hotel was a "self-check-in" type, which is fine, but I never received my day-of email with my room number and access code - so I had to call to get that.
The room was nice and the property was clean and neat - just like the pictures. But the bed and pillows were terrible! We had (3) pillows for our king-sized bed and they were lumpy and uncomfortable - the mattress was also not the greatest. At the very least, invest in better pillows and give a bed at least 4 of them!
