you can't find a better place that close.to the national park. definately good value for money

The hostess was very friendly and helpful. We weren't sure about ordering their dinner because of the reviews that we'd read. We went for it anyway and it was delicious. A beautifully prepared piece of salmon and very tasty risotto with some exotic flavors. The dinner cost $13 USD. It was just what we were looking for in terms of proximity to the park to do two day hikes. Breakfast was standard hostel food. Showers and bathrooms were clean and functional.

The room could have been cleaner. The pillows smelled like someone else's sweat. There was dirt on the beds which could have been from the window being open on a very windy day. We read the reviews about the cold so we brought sleeping bag liners and it was comfortable although cold in the morning when we got up. The water pressure of the bathroom sinks was a little low.

The location and the staff.

very well located, splendid view in the middle of nowhere. very kind and helpful people. Food was very good and well served. excellent home made bread: we took some for our next trail.

Nothing good

Reception: they don't care the clients. Room: Dormitory, 6 people, no light on the ceiling. Only 2 beds with a lamp. The client have to make the bed by himself ! Duvet cover: too small. It is for child bed ! No locker. No cloth hanger. No kitchen for the dormitory clients. I asked: where is the kitchen ? Angry answer: no kitchen for clients. I ask (with a small voice, as I saw the lady was angry): you don't make the beds ? Answer: If you are not happy, we can refund your money and you can leave ! For dinner, if you order the full menu you can get bred, if you ask only 1 dish, no bread ! All staff very bad, speaking together howling during all day and until 11pm. First night: 5 clients, second night: 4 clients, third night: 3 clients. Me and 2 italian people. Breakfast until 9:00. At 9:00 exactly, they removed the plates and coffee cups of the italians. Italians arrived at 9:05 and the "boss" said: Sorry, breakfast is until 9:00.... And for the welcome: at the foot of the entrance door there is the cat litter and the cat biscuits.... In the most famous national park of Patagonia. For 80 dollars/night in dormitory...

Very nice location with excellent view. Very clean.
