Absolutely spotless,staff great nothing was too much trouble,already saving up for next trip. First time in hotel usually caravan but we thought we'd treat ourselves and so glad we did would reccomend this hotel 100% and won't be looking anywhere else to stay after this trip, thank you guys for a lovely stay 👍👍👍👍

We stayed here for 2 night, customer service is excellent. All the staff we met were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really nice and service was great. Literally walking distance from the beach and free parking on site. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely welcoming to the Marine Lodge, excellent location with being in walking distance to the beach, restaurants, take outs and shops. Lovely full English breakfast is served in the lodge. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Exterior is in need of a lick of paint and refresh but that all costs so much. Did not make any difference to our stay of course. Great being able to park at the lodges parking for free. I took my own fan for the room, did not ask if they had any as I was happy to provide my own. Would recommend to take your own toiletries and not rely fully on lodges. I also took hot chocolate sachets for my children which I am glad I did as we only had tea and coffee. Also for a family room only two biscuits where provided when there was four of us. Was not a problem at all as we brought our own snacks. But something I noticed. Lovely big towels provided in the room with a hairdryer. Comfortable beds. Would return. Thank you.

Nice building could do with a little upgrade in places but it was safe and close to the beach. Staff were excellent and breakfast was fabulous. The car parking and being next to the beach was a bonus.

On website it’s stated that it has a garden but this is not true. No garden at the hotel. The sink was very small so a bit inconvenient to use. The location was brilliant. Walking distance to beach and shops. Friendly and helps staff

This is our second time we have stayed at the Marine Lodge Hotel and once again it was fantastic. The staff are very friendly and very welcoming and very helpful, the hotel is very clean and the rooms are nice and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is also very good and the hotel is very well placed, the beach, pier and town centre are a 5 minute walk. It is safe to say we will be back again next year.

We found the hotel very nice. Clean and comfortable. The room was a good size and the view was amazing. The bathroom could do with a facelift shower water pressure was a little poor and the silicone round the bath wasn’t the best. The bed was comfortable and clean.

Staff was really friendly and welcoming rooms were clean and tidy close to the beach and the attractions
Only down point was not a great view from the room, could only see fire escape and the shower had very low pressure but this wouldn’t put me off from coming again, maybe get a room with a view next time

The Marine Lodge is situated in a perfect location. It was very clean, the food was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is securely locked by an inner door which helps to keep it safe. We had free onsite parking which is a blessing. We would thoroughly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in Great Yarmouth.

Very well placed for town centre and amenities, parking good and off road. Room very nice and clean, bath shower needs a non slip mat. Staff super helpful and friendly, breakfast very good.

Brilliant stay . One tiny issue with the radiator not going off but even though it was 10.30 pm the chap on reception came straight up and sorted it for us . Breakfast was delicious and service very friendly . Would definitely recommend the hotel and we will be returning.

Had a lovely weekend stay for the bank holiday. Our little girl slept well both nights and the breakfast both morning's was wonderful.
The hot water for bathroom takes a while to come through but still a nice shower/bath and the hotel is across the road from a adult entertainment club but still peaceful at night.

Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Clean room, nice shower, good breakfasts with decent sausages. Catered well for my wife who is coeliac.

We have stayed a few times at this hotel. Comfy beds my only criticism would be the hot water for the shower seems to take a long time to come through and when it does it’s not very warm. My daughter found the shower to be warmer at about 9pm. But early morning it was like warm.

Nice hotel very close to everything. 5 min walk to Joyland. Plenty of free parking on site. We had a double sea view room. It was a bit small and up in the eaves, bumped my head once, but it was certainly adequate for our 2 night stay. Plenty of tea and coffee and biscuits too! Breakfast was really good and there was a nice little bar area too where you could also sit outside. Would stay again.

Had a great stay in a lovely clean,friendly hotel.Mattress's we're too soft for me & i suffer from lower back pain..10.5 tog quilts are a bit too hot for summer aswell. Overall,we had a lovely stay & all staff were excellent.

This was our second stay at Marine Lodge and we were not disappointed. A friendly welcome, lovely comfortable room with a sea view and super clean bathroom. The breakfast was amazing. Freshly cooked and delicious and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. Will definitely be staying again.

Saw plenty of 5 star reviews before I booked, but I’m guessing they didn’t stay in our room (apparently the smallest on the second floor). I’m also guessing they didn’t bring a cat, because they’d have no room to swing it. Add to that an ill-fitted toilet seat, the sauna-like conditions, and the creakiest, wobbliest bunk bed in the world (we ended up putting the top mattress on the floor), and you’ve got a recipe for sleepless nights.

Superb hotel. The service really is comparable to a 5 star hotel! Everything has been very well thought through and it felt like they went the extra mile wherever they could including ease of parking and doing everything to accommodate us with very young children. Breakfast was superb. Staff were very friendly and professional. Brilliant location too

Our stay was really great staff were friendly and welcoming onsite car parking excellent room was great and service and breakfast excellent. The hotel is ideally placed for everything the beach and pier are just a 2 minute walk along with the shops, pubs and places to eat. They have a lovely patio area out the front with views of the pier and beach, we arrived early and parked with no issues and on arrival although we couldn’t check in we were told we could use the hotel facilities which was brilliant. Overall our stay was fantastic breakfast was excellent and the staff were brilliant we will definitely be staying again.

It was the first time we brought our baby Grandson. Nice hotel with good parking spaces, very friendly and inclusive environment, the staff has loads of time and patience.
