Bed choisi enfin fonction des excellents commentaires sur Booking. Quelle déception ! Propriétaire courtois, sans plus et sa femme francophone parle effectivement français, enfin la dizaine de mots que nous avons échangés au moment de notre départ. Petit déjeuner "exceptionnel"comprenant deux oeuf au plat, du pain arabic,,un thé et une minii briquette de jus de fruit. L'état général de la chambre mériterait un bon ravalement. Le matelas était aussi souple que le carrelage au sol. Réveil douloureux... En bref, malgré le prix très attractif, grosse déception pour notre dernière nuit en Oman.

Not a lot of lunch/dinner options in the neighborhood; bed is very hard (but that is a personal preference).

Frühstück war 10 Tage immer das gleiche. Wasser für Tee, Instantkaffe mir Trockenmilch, dazu ein O-Saft, der den Namen nicht verdient hat. Dazu Fladenbrot, eine Sorte Marmelade (erdbeer), dazu Butter und 2 Streichkäse. Zudem entweder ein weich gekochtes oder gebratenes Ei. Im Grunde ein kontinentales Frühstück. Zimmer war äußerst spartanisch eingerichtet. Zwei Betten (Doppel- und Einzelbett). Matratze mit Kissen und ein ab gewohnter Schrank. Dazu ein Sessel und ein Kühlschrank. Kein Tisch! Bad war dreckig. Wascharmaturen mit einer Kalkkruste überzogen. Wasserleitungen der Dusche waren sichtbar. Warmwasserboiler funktionierte nur ab und zu. Zimmer und Bad wurden in den 10 Tagen Aufenthalt einmal gereinigt. Handtuchwechsel nur nach entsprechenden Hinweis. Im Grunde ist die Unterkunft nur für einen kurzen Aufenthalt geeignet.

Great location, in the heart of the old city and very close to the bus stop. But above all, the hosts are two fantastic and welcoming people capable of making you feel at home. If we could, we would rate it 100!

Very helpful hosts and location

AMAZING value for the price asked: this accommodation is the perfect choice for tourists looking to explore Muscat & Oman during the day and just have a comfy bed to sleep in during the night. The host was always very helpful: great communication and prepared for us a delicious breakfast every day. The location is great: it is very close to the National Museum bus station (which connects the place to the rest of Muscat) and to Mutrah, which has the most touristic places in the entire Muscat area. Thank you for a great stay!

First of all we want to talk about the owner he was so friendly and nice, we had a late check-in and he stayed awake for us until we reached, then after that we wanted to buy something from the market so he took us with his car and waited for us, next morning he took us to the bua stop and kept our luggage in the building until untill we came back for it and the he took us again to the bus station. The rooms were clean and nice the family was so friendly and helpful the breakfast was nice and simple. Highly recommend to stay there.

Great Host with a lovely and charming breakfast every morning. The property was in a save and nice location. We stayed with the family in there flat. Our room with the toilet was next to the living room. We could look the door but we felt very save and the host were really nice and warm-hearted.

It’s a great value for the money. Booking.com gave us a wrong address. so we had Problem at the beginning to find it without immobile internet. But the Omanis are very helpful.

We recommend to stay here, we were very satisfied with helpful hosts, good breakfast (eggs, bread, coffee, Tea 🙏) nice view and best possible location to explore the old city (smaller mosque directly infront of the house, few meters national museum, palace, etc.). Thank you again 💚🙃

The Hosts are really friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is freshly prepared every morning and very nice. This accommodation is very good value for money. I stayed for 12 days and nights. The Hosts were very respective of my privacy during the stay. I hope I will return to Oman one day and I would definitely stay here gain.

It's a room inside a flat. Owners are welcoming,place is clean, and spotless breakfast is included, which is made with love highly recommended.

location is good, not crowded muscat and very close to the national museum. In one hour you can walk to mutrah souq along the promenade. the host very welcoming, she also let us do the laundry for just one rial which is super good. in Oman you cannot find laundromat self service. room was nice

patchy wifi, very low shower pressure, basic eggs and flat bread breakfast, broken chair , host sitting down in front of us while we were eating breakfast made it awkward to eat. wrongly advertised as one bed apartment as it is just one room NOT the entire apartment

No better bargain in the old city center in my opinion.

The payment. Booking said final amount 12'786 but the tenant said 13'500. I said it wasn't what the application said. She then explained to me that Booking told her that... And I didn't follow the rest since it was obviously made up. I gave her 15'000. The 1'500 came later in the form of give me 1'000 in small change and I'll give one not of 1'000 in exchange and we're even. I started to get pissed and she told me straight "OK, OK." and gave me spontaneously the 1'500. Beware there are some troubles with the maths here.

It is a room in a flat so you can feel like at home. Owners of the flat is very friendly.
