We had a wonderful stay at the Rectory Farm for the Christmas Holidays. We stayed in the two bedroom loft which was perfect for our family. We saw some fantastic wildlife including a badger, ducks, birds and loved the rolling green English countryside.

A brilliantly executed conversion. I really don't know why I am encouraging other people to book up a place at which I would like to stay again.

The property is stunning! If you are looking for a retreat to the countryside, this is it. The Loft is beautifully appointed with gorgeous views, comfortable spaces and all the sweet touches that surprise you. A fresh loaf of locally baked bread, butter, milk and plenty of other treats to indulge in. Explore the farm with a pair of Hunter boots left for your use during your stay. We absolutely loved everything about The Loft, farm, host and comforts of the countryside retreat. Susan gave us many recommendations for pubs, parks, sites, etc. It really was a superb experience. We cannot wait to return.

From the moment we arrived at The Loft we knew we'd discovered a real hidden gem! The Loft; originally an old stable block has been lovingly renovated to such a high standard. The property is located approx. a kilometre off the quiet country road, and set within acres of rural farmland. Designed as an Eco house the interiors have been tastefully decorated in neutral tones with all the living accommodation located on the upper level - taking maximum advantage of the stunning views across uninterrupted countryside. The two bedroom loft has two modern and spacious en-suite bathrooms, both come with luxury Ritual toiletries. If media entertainment is your thing … .fear not music and games are also on tap, the attention to detail in this place is just superb! An open plan kitchen / diner / living space makes cooking a sociable affair and either dinning on the terrace or inside, the views across the open farm land all add to the tranquility of this special place. Walks around the grounds are to be encouraged various ponds host numerous wildlife, we got quite attached to the gaggle of geese frequenting the gardens and ponds they even had goslings during our stay! Communication with the hosts was always extremely prompt, always on hand should we need anything, offers of food shopping or amenities were endless and we even received a lovely bottle of wine for our wedding anniversary which we celebrated whilst we were there. Every effort was made to make our stay both memorable and truly magical! This really is such a special retreat and we can't wait to return! We cannot recommend The Loft at Clipston more highly. The accommodation is impeccable with high quality design and technology. The views are stunning from the outdoor balcony. The host family gave a warm welcome. Thank you for everything. 5* indeed.

Absolutely beautiful view from this place! That is enough of a reason to stay here. However the attentive host and the immaculate spaces in this building make it a wonderful experience. Fully recommend!!

I recently stayed at The Loft for one weekend - it was amazing! There is nothing I can fault about this accommodation. I loved it so much that I stayed at the owners second property on the farm (the cottage) one month later. Both properties are beautifully decorated with amazing interior, spacious and include a number of extras including an Amazon Echo, Popcorn maker, milk, bread, jam and cereals provided. The owner is very helpful, friendly and easily contactable via WhatsApp - there is also someone who greets you upon arrival, which is extremely helpful as they show you how to use all facilities and answer any questions you may have. I found that the owner was happy to answer all questions and tries her best to accommodate for additional requests (ie. late checkout). Wifi worked well, the tv is already logged into a Netflix account and the owner allows you to walk in her acres of land. I would highly recommend this property and the cottage. Lovely host and I will definitely be booking a third stay soon!!!!
