Our visit to Zuzana's House was excellent. The staff was super friendly and provided great tips. The location was superb, with the beach just a 50-meter walk away. The breakfast was plentiful, and the host made eggs according to our preferences. The rooms were clean, and the air conditioning was a great addition. Definitely worth recommending.

Superb value for money. Great location, 2 minute walk to beach, and can pay for day pass too one of beach front hotel if you desire to get all benefits of beach front hotel but pay fraction of overnight prices. 5 min walk to superb cheap restaurant, Local Fish Market, which came highly recommended by host. Breakfast was great and was organised earlier one of the days as we were leaving early (homemade passion fruit jam was delicious). Host very helpful and honest with advice and orgainising/suggesting taxi/tours. Be wary of low tide at nungwi, beach does not look as nice then (another reason not pay large fees to stay at beach front hotels!), much better to walk (or get taxi) to Kendwa beach where tide movements not as severe (day pass for some beach front hotels there quite cheap). Overall would 100% recommend.

Really nice room, comfy, spacious, clean, well decorated, and good mosquito nets. Delicious and varied breakfast (homemade jam super delicious). Zuzana (owner) is super nice and gave good suggestions for restaurants and excursions. The house is in a less touristy area (super safe) and even if it is not beach front, it is super easy to access the beach (1 minute walk).

Perfect location near the beach but in the village also which gives a nice local flare to the stay. Room was fantastic. Zuzana and Baraka go above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable and all your needs are met. Beds were a little hard but that is just personal preference. Brilliant breakfast with fresh fruit, local breads and Zuzana makes an amazing passionfruit jam that is literally to die for. Close to a local restaurant with delicious food. Honestly would recommend this place to stay in Nungwi 150%

That’s one of the best accommodations that I have ever met and I have been visited more that 40 countries) The owner Zuzana very welcoming and took care about all details. Here you feel like home. Breakfasts were more than I could expacted. We had a big room on the top floor - it was very clean, spacious and this big bed with curtain it’s one love. It's few steps to the beach.

The only thing it’s not depend on property but I would like to admit, as we had last floor under the roof it’s not soundproof and the city little bit noisy.

The property was beautiful and so elegant, plus the location was fantastic. In addition the staff was very attentive and happy to be flexible on arrival time, making us breakfast, as well as arranging airport transfers

Everything was perfect! We are very satisfied, especially with the breakfast. We already miss the fresh fruits, juice and homemade jam that were waiting for us every morning. Zuzana is the best kind of host; we have no words for how dedicated she is. We will definitely come back if we visit Zanzibar again.

The WiFi signal in our room was quite poor, but it wasn't an issue for us, because we had a local iternet card.

Lovely stay at Zuzanu House. New, clean and beautifully designed… an oasis of calm close to the beach. Mbarak and Zuzana were really kind, helping with questions whilst giving guests space to relax. Delicious breakfast and WiFi worked well. Thank you and all the best to all at Zuzanu House!

Can’t think of anything

What a place to get some rest for the weary bones! Susana was an outstanding host, supported by the fantastic Barak, true Zanzibari, great breakfast chef and really nice and helpful guy in general. Suzanna organised all the trips and tours for us. They were all fantastic and good value for money. The house is brand new, very clean and tidy, the rooms spacious, the beds comfy. The surrounding fishermen village is very lively and the mosque is close by so you might hear the prayers in the morning, but personally we really enjoyed the sounds of the vibrant village life. All in all great place, great people. Thank you so much Suzanna and Barak and everyone else involved and hopefully see you soon

Nothing to complain about

We have absolutely nothing to complain. It was a perfect staying. The hotel is located in a perfect spot to enjoy the beach. The rooms, swimming pool, breakfast, shower, and all the building, are modern, very very clean and absolutely authentic. Also a perfect clima in the room (air conditioner). More important that everything, Mbarak and Zusana are present and extremely kind and helpful. Constança and Tristao from Portugal.

Love the room, it’s very new and has a style. I enjoy the light breeze coming from the balcony when I sleep and wake up in the morning. Really like the pool and private balcony as well. After the morning activities, I can just stay in the comfort of my room/balcony or by the pool and relax. The property is also just 2 min walk from the beach and have access to a lot of restaurants along the beach Zuzanu and Mbaiak are super friendly and make sure I am taken care of. Highly recommend this place

Everything is almost perfect. room was super clean, bathroom was new, pool was great, staff is super nice, breakfast was amazing. You can have many options for the breakfast. Location is in a bit calmer area. but by walking for 4-5 min you can be in the center. Sometimes you really want to be in the calmer area than the center.

in Zanzibar in everywhere there is a wifi problem. in the room wifi was okey, in the garden it was good. but we were okey, we could use wifi in the room as well. but if it is too important for you, i suggest to buy a local simcard for 10 15 dolar.

the location is excellent, close to the beach, authentik local houses and to the shopping street as well. superb breakfast. it was perfect to wash your foots and boots from a dirt, after a walk from the ouside right next to the door. Zuzana shared a comlette must seen, or to do list as well with all activities and attractions near by.
