Beautiful weather, great time!

Sandcastle at the Villas at Sunset Beach was fantastic! Well equipped with all the sundries, chairs, umbrellas, etc., that you need for the beach and plenty of beach towels as well. The house was very clean and the cupboards were well stocked. The location is just few short steps to the beach and walking distance to plenty of shopping and restaurants. Janice, the Owner, was very receptive to all our needs when we had any questions. We will definitely be back!

The property was as described—close to beach, decent pool, great parking, etc. It was clean-ish, mostly just older and in need of update/refresh. We were thankful to find a beachside property w/in days of our arrival—and Janice was easy to communicate with & very responsive. All that is fine, but renters should know about the beach situation. The entire beach in front of the property is sandwiched between other private beaches so basically all of Seacrest visits this small section of beach-and while that is what it is, the area is dominated by chair rental companies. So, what does that mean? While the property owners were generous to leave chairs and umbrellas, I would have to get out there at 7:30am (not a huge deal) to earmark a spot for my umbrella and chair. When I went back, I’d have every Tom, Dick, and Harry right up next to me-within 2-3 feet-playing their music & letting their heathens run around. It’s not their fault so much as the way the beach area is managed. I discovered there were many rules-no tents (not a big deal for me, but it was sad to see them tell folks with large families to take them down), if you brought your own gear, you had about 50ft to use and compete with all of Seacrest—to be clear, they golfcarted folks in from the otherside of 30A, & beach chair rentals were more than competitors at ~$90 per day with no weekly discounts. In a pinch, I’d stay again—but instead would plan ahead and stay elsewhere. For the $, Rosemary has more space/amenities.

Our family vacation included 3 adult children ages 23, 21 & 19. We loved the location! The beach was extremely crowded, but we made it work. Our walks to dinner & shopping in Rosemary Beach were perfect. We only drove to dinner 2x the entire week. Once to Florida Fish house which was just minutes away and once to George’s in Alys Beach because we were dressed up and didn’t want to walk. The convenience of the property will have us returning! Love this location. Close to beach, Rosemary and restaurants. We will probably not stay here again because there were a few things that didn't work well for our family. The description was clear about the size of the garages - I underestimated how much trouble this would be. Getting to bikes and beach items require moving the vehicle every time. The gate into front courtyard had wide slats that our dogs could walk through. We were able to put a baby gate up in front of it. I neglected to pay attention that both restrooms required going through a bedroom to get to. My daughter had to walk through our room every time to use the restroom. The window shades on two doors are torn up and should be removed or replaced. VERY high praise for their maintenence man. The gate was falling off when we got there. He came within a couple of hours to repair. When I mentioned the shower didn't drain well he insisted on coming in and fixing it. The details were all in the description.

We LOVED this property! The price was fantastic for the location. We were close enough to ride bikes to dinner or walk up for coffee. The beach is just a couple minute walk and easy to get back after a long day on the beach. Much better than having to wait on and catch the shuttle. We will definitely book here again!

Great house, right in the middle of everything. 2 min walk to beach (it was crowded but nice). Go ahead and rent beach chairs online to be comfortable during peak season. House came stocked with everything we needed and we walked to many restaurants and shops.

Great location and house! The garage was perfect to park my car. I have a midsize suv anything bigger wouldn’t fit. Parked it at arrival and never moved it till time to pack up. The extra garage is perfect for beach gear and bikes so nothing is left outside!

Wonderful beach property on gulf side of 30A! Just steps away from the beach at Seacrest! The owner makes the ease of booking and communication a delight! The beach home is clean, nicely appointed, with an abundance of beach chairs and toys provided! It’s the perfect home and location for a beach vacation! Would book this home or with this owner again!

Great location. Park once and walk anywhere. Beautiful beach. Short walk to town, restaurants, shops, etc.. Clean, comfortable living area, kitchen, bedrooms. Very nice, responsive owner made everything easy.

Was a great weekend. Communication was smooth with the property manager and no issues finding and getting into the home. Excellent location. Can walk to the beach and to many restaurants and shops. Loved it and plan to come back next spring!

Spent the month of February in this cottage. The unit was very clean and had all the things you need for a long or short stay. Janice was very communitive throughout the process. Short walk to beach, heated pool and great restaurants nearby. We will be back.

The property is in a great location, easy walk to the beach, access to a pool, plenty of room inside with all the things you need. Also a ton of beach supplies and two garages! Janice was so kind and communicative as well. Our family of 3 had a great time, we'll likely book again with a few other family members too!

We loved our stay at Sandcastle. The accommodation were great, comfortable beds and the unit had anything you could need. There were lots of beach chairs available for use as well as beach umbrellas, coolers and floats. The host was very easy to reach and available for any questions or needs one may have. We would definitely love to stay there again!

Our stay, although at one of the most crowded locations on one of the most crowded weeks, was delightful. The beach was easy to walk to, even with younger children, and the house was so close that you could escape the crowds mid-day to the comfort of this nice two-bedroom, two-bath cottage. The pool was heated early in the week and stayed comfortable for our entire stay. The pool never got crowded and had a nice view of the gulf. Beds were very comfortable and all amenities were as advertised. Check-in and check-out were very easy, and we were given lots of information on the processes. Ronna was great to work with, very responsive and accommodating. Overall, a wonderful experience for adults and children.

The property and grounds were very clean, the condo was quite comfortable and the location could have not been more perfect. The host was very responsive, check in and check out was very easy. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to book it again.

House was exactly as described and in our favorite location (easy walk to shops and restaurants in Alys and Rosemary Beach……..love the Havana Beach Cliub!). Ronna was very prompt and courteous. Highly recommend this property anytime (except the next time we reserve it!!!!).

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sandcastle on Sunset Beach. The location was fabulous and perfect for biking around 30A. Three bikes were provided at this property as well as all kind of beach supplies, an added bonus! Check in and check out were very easy. We all had a great time!

Perfect location for walking to beach and to Rosemary and Alys restaurants. Bikes were a nice surprise. Was great having downstairs bedroom for teens. If the airflow from AC vent was placed better- the tower room would be used more. Enjoyed our stay!

Loved our short stay! It was a great location. Perfect walk to pool and beach. Easy walking distance if you have small kids to beach, pool, shops and restaurants. We walked to get coffee every AM and also walked to dinner. The house was perfect for the 6 of us. The 3rd floor gets warm during the day but was perfect to sleep in the evening. The kitchen has everything we needed to cook and make our meals. We will definitely be back and hopefully for longer next time.

We had a great time staying at this property! Ronna was easy to work with and responsive. The property lovely and a GREAT location. The house was well-stocked and comfortable for our 2 year old to enjoy, too. I highly recommend!

Exactly as described! Perfect location to the beach, community pool, restaurants, shopping at all. Quiet neighborhood. Clean, clean home with nice amenities. Master bed was extremely comfortable. Brand new washer and dryer was wonderful as well. I'm already looking forward to booking this location again.

This property was perfect and exactly as described! All the amenities and comfort we needed with the perfect location.

Property was nice, floors need updating and bedrooms are small, hardly any room to move on either side of King bed. Bathrooms clean and updated, but a pedestal sink in each so no counter space. Property manager very responsive. The coffee maker broke down during our stay and she immediately brought us a new one! There is a unit with a pool behind it, sometimes would get loud with people at night in the pool. Carpets in bedrooms were scratchy (good for sand I guess) but not comfortable. TV in living room seemed a little high on the wall. There were no wine glasses in the unit which I found surprising! Overall, our stay was fine, but I might look for a more updated unit next time for the price we paid. Thanks!

Nice location close to dining however homes here are on small lots right next to each other. There was a swimming pool out back for another community and no tub for young children/ infants. Two garages are a plus. Crow’s nest is not air conditioned. Great beaches along 30 A area. You need strength to carry/wheel stuff to the beach.

This property is the perfect size for our family of four. Our teenage daughters enjoyed having a separate floor for their bedroom and bathroom, and everything you need is included. The property is clean and has all the beach necessities, and is so close to the beach access and pool, maybe a few hundred yards. The property manager, Ronna, is a great communicator and was clear on all instructions and suggestions, and was quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay. A couple of days were rainy in the Koenig. Which made a perfect opportunity to go up the the 3rd floor for coffee and watch the rain over the ocean. We will absolutely be back.
