The building where the hotel apartments are located is fantastic. The building is new. There is a lot of content. The ground floor is full of attractions. Social room. Vending machines with sweets, snacks, juices and water. Rooms for work. Room for watching movies. There is a nice swimming pool and a gym on the roof of the building. The room is enough for one person. The girl and boy (African) who work at the reception are endlessly nice and kind. There are many markets and small restaurants in the area. It has all the lines that go to the beaches and the city center.

The facility is quite far from the city center and all attractions. It took me forever to get to town. I spent four days with the same towels. When I asked if I could get new towels, I got no response. In the end, I went into the room alone where the clean towels are, and I helped myself with the towels. The bathroom holds water, there is no shower, you have nothing to clean the water with.

the wall are like paper. there were a few teenagers in one of the rooms on my floor, and I could hear every single thing they did. it meant I lost a lot of quality sleep because of all the noises.

Ignore all the bad reviews! There are 2 sides to La Mina, and this hotel is in the new, modern and safe side. It is close to buses, tram and metro, as well as a supermarket and coffee shops. The hot water worked perfectly, the air con was brilliant, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean and spacious. There are vending machines inside the building, and the gym + rooftop pool are great. The kitchen contains a fridge, stove and microwave. There is good, free wifi included. 24hr reception + security - receptionists were extremely friendly and helpful, and you can leave bags with reception when you check out to collect them later.

The breakfast, I ordered in the cafe, was big, a lot to eat. Lasted in my belly, for some time. Even I had to use google/ duolingo to talk with the man who worded who made it. Me= not much spanish, he= no english

The noise in the corridor outside my room, the doors should been soundproof? We had difficult finding the entrance, the door was on the side of the house, not in front. You must change to correct! The firealarm came on, (false), but was it only the one stairway?

For its price it should be higher standards. And staff shall be more flexible when a guest asks for service. I have requested an Iron to do ironing for my clothes, they asked me to provide my passport to be in hold until i bring back the iron!? My daily fee is mire than iron price and they ask for that!? Property’s location is in northern edge of Barcelona city, & surrounded by uncomfortable household buildings with young guys acting not safe.

Staffs are very helpful. They let me allow to park a car after checked out.

The reception people are not well trained. They are not professional and working without good attitude. It's even difficult for them to make an invoice when I need to change the invoice title. The facilities inside the room is also not good. The AC inside room is quite noisy with a bad cooling performance. And there isn't enough tools for the kitchen inside room. In my room, there wasn't a knife, nor a plate for food material cutting, nor a spatula for the kitchen using. When I went to the reception for the kitchen tools, what they could say is always: 'we don't have'. I understand that the place is a campus residence for students. But when you are doing business for other public people, please get the work in a professional way.

While there were many things I did not enjoyed about my stay, one particular highlight for me was the exceptional service I received from the lady at the reception. Her kindness, gentleness, and willingness to assist were truly remarkable. Her presence added an extra touch of warmth to my experience, and I wanted to convey my gratitude for her service.

Firstly, the distance of the property from the city center was a notable drawback for me. The inconvenience of commuting back and forth took away from the overall convenience and accessibility I had anticipated. Additionally, my check-in experience was quite disappointing. Despite arriving at 5 pm, I had to wait for two hours due to a room that had not been cleaned. This extended delay significantly impacted my plans for the evening and left me feeling frustrated. Furthermore, there was an incident during my stay when a worker entered my room without prior notice or permission. This unexpected intrusion was quite unsettling and made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. I believe it would be more appropriate for staff to wait until guests are outside their rooms before performing any maintenance or checks. I wanted to bring these matters to your attention so that you are aware of the areas that could benefit from improvement. I hope you take this feedback constructively and work towards enhancing the guest experience at your property.

Good location, 5 mins from metro and easy access to beaches and local facilities

No hot water in mornings for showers, no spare pillows, the pillows were to small and very uncomfortable. The blinds do not block out the spot lights at night

The price is not proportional to the actual place, which is more a Hostel with individual (very small) rooms. No services at all, not even a person to reply your messages when you try to contact. I tried to contact asking transport indication to the place. Nobody replied. Public transport from the airport to Micampus is not easy at all, you have to change from trains to buses etc many times. Plus, when you arrive at the address, you cannot find it. You will find a private building of apartments instead. And Micampus is, in reality, in a small lateral path from the main (indicated) street. For me, it was real nightmare 😬
