A lovely apartment with a beautiful balcony overlooking the jungle and sea. The accommodation was clean and well equipped. The location was excellent, a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and some nice hikes. Castara is an extremely friendly village. Everybody will chat with you if you say hello.

The next few comments are not necessarily dislikes they are considerations to be aware of: The accommodation does not accept credit cards, something I was not made aware of prior to arriving. In addition, the one and only ATM in the village did not accept any of the four credit cards that I had with me. Please ensure you take enough cash with you for the duration of your stay in Castara. Thankfully my payment card issue was resolved by the owners son, who travelled from the other side of the island with his own card reader. Finally, make sure you take insect repellent with you.

My stay at Castara was wonderful. The host give a great speech in the beginning letting you know all that Castara has to offer. They were very welcoming. The facility was beautiful, peaceful and clean. The prices were very reasonable and I would definitely stay again

If I was to leave anything negative I would say Having AC unit would be nice especially during the day. In the evenings and nights It wasn't really necessary. We were at the beach a lot during the day. But just having a AC unit while you get dress so your not so hot would of been nice.

Oh where should I start... It was just so amazing! We were taken care of so well and whatever we asked was answered and taken care of. We felt respected and appreciated and that people wanted us to have a lovely experience at Castara. The place was very lovely and clean, the terrace with a hammock made our experience even better.

Cosy, clean, peaceful and perfect location to Castara bay. Nothing was lacking.
