The hotel was clean and beautiful. The location was excellent for walking to eat or viewing the seawall. Breakfast was great. Perfect for one night stay.

My room was amazing, even got early checkin! The staff was nice and loved you could text anything you needed to the concierge. Pool area was nice and the view from the balcony was amazing.

Everything was acceptable.

The experience was pretty good, the only two things I didn’t like is the sound proofing of the room and the fact that we can’t turn the balcony lights off. other than that, the place is pretty nice

Hotel looked new and nice so we booked a night after the other hotel we booked turned into a bust. Rooms look to be very nice but about midnight there was a huge roach in the bathroom that ran under the fridge so I started looking around and there was a bunch of small ones running around so they moved us rooms which made us wake our kids up. The new room first thing we see is a dead roach and later that morning wife had a bug crawl on her in bed . We get up to go to breakfast and sure enough there is a big roach on the wall in the hallway. When I brought to their attention about the bugs they acted like they knew it was already a problem so I really recommend watching your room for bugs if you stay here . The front desk lady called the manager and gave us a small discount but still very unacceptable for what we had to go through. I normally don’t like to review places but think people should know of this problem if staying here

Location was amazing right off the beach the balcony faced the ocean. The room was very nice and relaxing hope to stay again!

great dog friendly hotel right across from the beach, we room was large, and clean.

Check in was the only issue we had. They weren’t very friendly and when we got to our room there was a guy doing repairs. So we went and requested a new room. Also I wasn’t aware that they charge $15 a day to park. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The view of the beach was great. Loved the little balcony. The A/C kept the room cool but we had to set it to 69° in order to keep the room at 72°

Hotel location was great. Seawall and beach access right across the street. Room was clean and spacious enough for our party of 5. TV was on the basic side. No real options except for Tubi and some random preset channels. Needed trash service on day 2 but the staff only brought bags to the door and didn't actually take out the trash and replace the bags. We had to do it ourselves so that was unexpected. Breakfast was good and had decent selections that were constantly being refilled, cereal, yogurt, pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, bagels, muffins, eggs, sausage and ready made breakfast sandwiches. Pool was clean and had plenty of seating/lounging options. The cons were the trash service not being daily and the 15 dollar per day parking. The good certainly outweighed the bad and I would definitely recommend this hotel. We will be visiting this hotel again soon.

Nice place

Not a lot of parking and it’s $15 a night. Some beach goers park in the lot although patriots of the hotel are passes to place in their window. There is no longer a restaurant which was one of the reasons I booked here. Over all the staff is very professional and kind. Prices on snacks should be more cost affordable. The room was clean but too noisy. You could hear people walking in the corridor, slamming doors in the middle of the night. One morning the alarm went on for no reason. The AC fan wouldn’t stay on, so we had no way to keep the noise down. We stayed 3 nights and didn’t get any sound sleep.

From arrival to departure I was pleased with this reservation.

Staff was great. Wonderful location. Only downfall was the bed was not comfortable for my middle-aged back.

This property was clean, in a great location and well stocked. They had a small store in front, breakfast offered lots of options and room was really nicely thought out and immaculate .

I did not get the room i booked, they gave it aesy. Tried talking to the manager, knocked money off the room that now i have to try and get back from Expedia and getting a hold of u guys is difficult.

The hotel is newer and right next to the beach. We stayed the day before our cruise and it was great. The rooms are so cute!

Excellent staff, clean hotel and comfortable bed

The breakfast, maintenance, and housekeeping staff were all great. The front desk staff, more specifically, the night front desk staff either need retraining or they don’t need to be front line employees. I asked two questions at check in and was told, “I just got here, let me get adjusted and I’ll let you know.” Never got the questions answered. They were easy questions. Is my room facing the Seawall and did you see on my reservation that I had a service animal, I figured the first out on my own and didn’t care about the 2nd being answered. If they don’t care about the details why should a guest? Next, I stayed 2 days, paid $454 a night…ridiculous for this hotel. If the airbnb would have answered I would have stayed there for half the cost for an ENTIRE house. Another issue, we stayed 2 nights, I had to get new cards 3 different times. I kept them in their sleeves in my pocket, alone. No cell phones or anything else came in contact with them. Why are we paying for parking when we pay almost $500/night?! Lastly and most importantly, the staff never secured the gate leading into the pool from the parking lot. I came through that way every time my cards didn’t work. I told the staff each time the gates are not secured. On the last time, I stopped to use the restroom right inside the gate by the pool. There was blood splatter all over the wall and floor. This is from the drug addict population taking advantage of the unsecured access to the restroom and they are shooting up.

The manager walked into our room before 11am check out and we had 2 teenage girls in the room!

Upon arrival, I was informed that my reservation had been canceled and “they weren’t required to notify me” because I booked through a third party. They also didn’t notify Expedia of the cancellation. Never again…

My family said this was the best hotel I have ever booked. Great prices for the dogs and the place is beautiful, amazing breakfast spread, has its own secluded bar, great outdoor pool area... etc. I could go on and on!! As soon as you walk out of the hotel you see the ocean.... just an amazing hotel. I will be back!!

Booked for a last minute, overnight stay. Place was busy, but not crowded. We got there late, but had time to enjoy the pool with a lot of other hotel guests (again, lots of people but not overly crowded). Very clean and comfortable. Right across from the beach. Full size fridge was a bonus for traveling with our kids.

I did not receive the room I booked thru Expedia. The day prior I booked a room with a balcony and upon my arrival I was given a room with a street view and no balcony. I returned to the front desk and they said they were out of balcony rooms and if I wanted to cancel my reservation it would cost the price of the room plus tax. Im a vet and came all the way here from VA to see the water from my room. I will not book another room thru Expedia or stay at a Hilton Home2 hotel again. Word of warning to my fellow vets...be careful when making a reservation at the Galveston Home2Suites.

My AC unit wasn’t working the first night and when I realized that it kept getting hotter, I called the front desk to inform them. They sent up maintenance immediately and had it fixed. The front desk staff were all nice and sociable. Great customer service. Breakfast, there were some options but bland. Overall, I would stay at this property each time I visit Galveston.
