Great rooms, perfect location and super friendly staff.

This is a great hotel to stay at in San Juan Del Sur. It’s the cleanest place we have stayed at in all of Nicaragua. The rooms are simple but comfortable and the AC works great. There is a really good kitchen and a couple nice hangout spots in the hotel. Location is great, only a couple blocks from the beach and steps from all the restaurants. However, at night it was super quiet and we slept great. Staff were super helpful and even organized laundry cleaning. I’d stay here again for sure because the value for money is unmatched in this area

Though centrally located, it was surprisingly quiet place actually. Helpful and nice staff who do speak English. Small room perhaps but ok for a few nights. And a warm shower is always a bonus of course.

An der Rezeption wird für den beabsichtigten Grenzübertritt nach Costa Rica leider nur auf teure Shuttles und Taxi verwiesen, selbstorganisiert mit lokalen Bussen geht’s um einiges günstiger und zeitlich flexibler

Rob and Henrique, the managers, were so nice and beyond helpful!! The property is kept so clean and while it’s close to restaurants and shops, it was quiet to sleep. There is even a communal kitchen if you want to save money on eating out! There is also a great deck area to lounge in and a picnic table to sit around and play games or share snacks. We would definitely stay there again!

Very capable and kind host. They were willing to help us at any given time. The hotel is located in the center, close to all the facilities and the beach. The room was very clean and nice hot shower in the room. The common area is cozy and comfortable, good for some relaxing.
We had noice complaints at midnight, but after contacting the host, we slept extremely well the next few nights.

Excellent location. Very comfortable and clean. Helpful, friendly staff! Great value.
Occasional noise, music from the neighbourhood, but understandable given central location. Also, some guests did not clean up their gross cooking messes. Management should add signage in kitchen asking guess to respect other guests and clean up their mess.

Great comfortable rooms, each with their own private bathroom and AC. Centrally located, steps from the main market. Also there is a nice shared kitchen that is available for all to use.
From my room I could hear the loud buses that arrive in front of the market at 4AM / 5AM.

Great place to stay close to the centre and beach. 24 hour desk which made you feel secure and super friendly staff ready to give advice when needed. The wifi was excellent and hot shower a bonus. Kitchen I did not use other than to put drinks in the fridge and make coffee but it was spotlessly clean and well equipped should you wish to cook.
The hotel is still a little sparse with regards to soft furnishings - the owner told me his plans and these are on the way but remember this is Nicaragua where you do not get a delivery from Amazon the following day. Despite that it did not spoil my stay but obviously these will add to overall comfort in the long term.

The location was absolutely perfect. Short walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. We were able to check out an hour late with no problems. Overall it was a good place to stay for a few days.
The bathroom was very small. The rooms were very simple and only had the necessities.

Everything was spotless and modern. Rob and staff were incredibly helpful and nice. Great location in town. Internet is super fast and the kitchen has everything you need and more.

We just stayed the one night but found it to be super clean with friendly staff. The shower was lovely and hot and everywhere was freshly painted. The kitchen was clean and well equipped, although I only made a coffee there.

The stuff is very friendly. You can see that is renovated, as they are still waiting for some things. But it was a nice stay there, also in the kitchen you have everything you need.

The room was fantastic with the added bonus of the shared lounge and a terrace.
The property is located 650 feet from San Juan del Sur Beach easy access to all the fun like hiking, windsurfing and snorkelling.

Book your accommodation with Chale's House. It has just been fully refurbished in style and comfort. The environment is tranquil in the right spot away from the noisy night life. A beautiful place to stay in San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua.
