Hotel and gardens were beautiful and entertainment on Saturday night was great
Apart from receptionist and guy at the pool not 1 other member of staff spoke to us. Had to wait for drinks at bar until staff finished there conversation and at breakfast had to ask for food as the buffet needed replenished and to have toast replaced as it arrived as warm bread not toast, plenty of staff and another member in charge no one asked if everything was OK or even good morning or goodbye sml things that mounted up along with the hospitality has put us off booking in future and we like to visit different hotels 3 weekends out of 4....

Location, distance from airport and Belfast. Rustic mill interior, very comfortable bed, large room with patio. Breakfast was great with lots of variety.
Bathroom could of been brought up to date… felt dated but still very clean.

Location was good.
Inattentive staff. The room was set up for one person when there was two of us. We rang down early after arriving to tell the reception but we are still waiting on them to rectify it. There was a wedding happening and i understand they were probably busy but we were a paying customer aswell. It was as if the room was rushed as the toilet roll holder was empty, the pillows were flat, had 1 bath towel between us both and no other towels for hand drying. Breakfast was nice but we had to go find a staff member to ask for a tea and coffee. I wouldn't normally write a negative review but it was an expensive night stay so not worth it in my opinion.

we showed up to the hotel and it was like a building site ( we weren’t aware any work was being done before arrival ) we couldn’t use the spa facility until 6pm as there was children’s swimming lessons most off the day the spa facility’s weren’t great.

Breakfast was basic, however, poached eggs made upon request and were perfect. Nice to walk around the garden and see the peacock and peahens. Room had patio doors and windows onto a courtyard, fantastic really as I do not like to feel ‘trapped’ in a hotel room. Shower powerful and warm. Nice tea and coffee bags in the room. Bed big and comfy.
A fridge in the room would be handy and a stand to set the suitcase on. Some renovations at front desk so first impression impacted with entering through a fire door instead of a usual reception area.

The room we had was lovely and spacious. The hotel interior was cozy and inviting. The gardens made for a peaceful afternoon having drinks. Staff we encountered were amazing and very friendly.
We were unaware of any renovations going on until we arrived ☹️
The standard of food on the menu did not reflect the price, it was expensive for what it was. Breakfast was lovely but unorganised on the first morning, must say this was rectified and far better on the second morning.
Could maybe put a few biscuits to go with tea and coffee in the room?

Beautiful rooms and gardens. Peacocks gathered at our door which really made the stay so delightful
Some staff at dinner service seemed very abrupt, but most were fantastic

Bar staff were great, Kate and Scott I think their names were in particular.
Room was massive, with a comfy bed.
Breakfast was delicious.
There was a dirty glass left in our room when we checked in.
Receptionist and waitress at breakfast didn't have the best customer service.
WiFi didn't work in our room
