Dreamy location with short walk to beach with Gulf and marsh views while sitting on the couch. House is well maintained and the beds were very comfy. Linens were fluffy. We will stay here again! We are very picky about beach locations and this is the best place on West Beach where there is privacy and yet not far from main island activity if you choose to hop in your car. Hostess is very responsive. Highly recommend!

Perfect spot for a young family. No loading up the car to get to the beach, concerns about someone getting tired, hot, needing to go to the bathroom, etc. We could take sun breaks back at the house while still enjoying the view. Beds were comfortable and house was well equipped.

The house is very nice and clean. It is 500 feet from the ocean with a gravel path straight to the beach. It has two bedrooms, a bath upstairs and a half bath downstairs. The owner is so nice and friendly and is on top of anything that might be wrong with the house. For a small family or two couples, this is a perfect find. Would recommend it highly.

This was our second time renting this beautiful house. It is the perfect location with a short walk to direct beach access. Host was responsive and a pleasure to work with! We will definitely be back and have recommended this house to our friends and family!

This property was clean and comfortable and a perfect location. Just far enough from the strand but close enough to enjoy activities without too much of a drive. The owner is very responsive and wants to ensure you have a good stay. There is beach access directly across and its easy to walk to the beach. The deck is great to look at the ocean. Overall, a good experience.

Really close to beach ,beautiful view, close to restaurants in town, outside shower helps a lot & we couldn't had asked for a more peaceful place to stay. House is on a dead end so now traffic. Loved the private access for people staying on same street. House is beautifullly decorated & really clean!!

We had such a great time! The house is cozy, clean, and nicely decorated. You don't need to bring or buy any beach accessories. Wagons, chairs, umbrellas, and toys were all provided. We especially loved that cars were not allowed on this part of the beach so it was very quiet and relaxing. Thank you!

I’ve been visiting Galveston for years, and this has been my favorite stay so far. You just can’t beat the views and proximity to the uncrowded beach. The beds are beyond comfortable. Watching the sunrise is a must! We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

The location was superb. This home was tastefully decorated, quaint sea cottage style. We enjoyed the ocean views from all three patios. The house was well equipped for preparing meals. Plenty of towels were provided. Beds were comfortable. We enjoyed watching the bunnies in the yard. The home was very clean.

This house was beyond my expectations! Clean, great location, and also felt private. Like we had our own beach right in front of the house! Beds were the best I've ever had for a rental property. We didn't need most of the stuff we brought, such as beach towels, chairs, toys for the beach, laundry stuff. Even wagons for hauling your things on the short walk to the beach. The owner responds very quickly to answer any questions and the whole process of reserving and checking in was easy, fast and no stress! I will definitely be back to this property!!

Great location right off the beach. Had some fantastic views of both the beach and the salt-marsh to the side of the house that provided some wonderful bird-watching opportunities. Clean, well-maintained, updated rental with really no negatives. One of the very best rentals we've stayed at over the last 15 years. It is small, but was a terrific place for the three of us. Only two bedrooms, but they are very large compared to some rentals. Loved our stay.

Work came up so I couldn’t go so I text Pamela and ask if it would be ok if my Niece and her husband went in my place and she was so very nice and understanding! They said it was an awesome experience and everything was better than expected! Will definitely book this place again the next time I go to Galveston! Thank you Pamela!

This beach house is in a prime location just steps away from a private beach. The property owner is very responsive to questions and the house was very clean and well appointed. Our family enjoyed every minute and will definitely be back to rent this again.

This was my first time using VRBO or renting a house in Galveston. The entire process could not have gone smoother. The pictures did not do the property justice. Felt like home. THE WHOLE TRIP WAS PERFECT. Worth every penny spent !!!! I cant wait to start planning our next trip.

She made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent for family vacation with private beach…. walking distance from the beach house. I enjoyed the kitchen very much. They have everything that we need. Not to mention the ocean view from all the windows!!!! Will use this place again. Exceptional host. Pamela is wonderful. Very helpful!!!! My son enjoyed his birthday !!!! We really enjoyed our stay. The location is right on the edge of a group of other houses and next to a marsh. The views on two sides of the house are unobstructed—just the beach and the marsh. The marsh, of course, offers lots of bird-watching opportunities. The house is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The mattress on the bed where we slept was the best one we’ve ever had in a rental property. All around, a wonderful stay.

We loved our stay at this lovely beach house. It is located only a few steps from the beach and there is a small marsh located on the side of the house that made for some fun bird watching. The night sounds were relaxing with a mixture of sounds from the water and the birds. The beds were quite comfy too. The beach house is amazing with its two front balconies and the large balcony/porch in the back of the house. There are so many great spots to relax with someone or alone. The bar height table and chairs on the back porch were so comfortable. These were some of the many upgrades at the house that do not appear in the photos. The beach house was very clean and comfortable. The house is fully equipped with all the necessities including plenty of bath towels and beach towels, too. There was also a Keurig in the kitchen (with several coffee selections), so that we could enjoy our morning coffee. The back porch had wagons, beach chairs, umbrellas and many other items for the beach that were a great bonus. We are so glad we found this spot! We had a fabulous time and cannot wait to come back!

Very nice and clean, cozy beach house!! Just a short little trail right to the beach. We had a “private view” of fireworks (right in front of us) from the bedroom balcony. And even more from the back deck. Great experience 😁
