The view
-Room was dirty (stains on the pillow) and has no windows
-it was not possible to change rooms, although most rooms were still free and available
-unfriendly and unhelpful staff
-wine tasting was not possible on 2 days in a row
-food was very basic and ok, but expensive
-breakfast was ok for Italy, by far no international standard. Omelette only for additional charge
-no gym
-the staff had no recommendations concerning day trips or bike routes at all „just drink some wine at the restaurant“
-greenkeeper starts gardening at 7 am
-nonetheless the outside does not seem to be in the best shape

good location and hotel territory, service is on top level
from Saturday to Sunday we’re many people with children, expect some noise, uncomfortable garden chairs

Fantastic location. We had room with the balcony and breathtaking view of the Tuscan hills. Food in restaurant was great, staff very helpful

Excellent place to relax and unwind. Grounds are very well kept. We did the pasta making class which was a highlight of our 2 week trip throughout Italy. We also did the wine tasting which was great. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Really nice breakfast each day.
We wouldn’t recommend the private dinner. It was the same menu you could order at the restaurant, just in a private setting but with a much higher cost.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Borgo Tre Rose from Thursday to Sunday and I must say that I absolutely loved every moment of my stay. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming, and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I could possibly need. We received a free upgrade and got a bedroom with a breathtaking view to the hills. The bed was comfortable, the room was warm, the bathroom spacious and clean. The hotel's facilities were top-notch, with a fantastic restaurant and a a very complete breakfast buffet.
Overall, I would highly recommend Borgo Tre Rose to anyone looking for a comfortable, and memorable stay in Tuscany with a lovely view. The staff, facilities, and location were all exceptional, and I can't wait to return for another visit.
We noticed that with the arrival of more guests the WiFi became very slow. In any case, it would be good to confirm the speed and stability of the internet with the hotel if you are looking to work remotely from there.

Great location with wonderful scenery. The staff were helpful and friendly. we did a cooking class with Suzy and Tassos. They were great and we had a fun time. This would be a good base from which to explore many of the hill towns in this area.

beautifully maintained
there were no instructions as to the regulation of the AC
no one explained whether there were extra blankets

The reception staff was lovely. We had an excellent but expensive wine tasting. The food was well priced and so delicious!! The views from the hotel are breathtaking. We enjoyed sitting on our balcony with a cold beverage enjoying the surroundings.
We were not expecting the number of small children and dogs in the restaurant. We miss interpreted a vineyard hotel to be more adult orientated. The wait staff in the restaurant seemed very tired and at times unfriendly.

the view, the location , the landscape
the service was poor as well as the attention to details was very low. you pay 315 euro and they ask you to pay 5 extra euro for the swimming pool towel? no changes of towel and bed sheet (not specified in Booking.com) - also this was extra. the breakfast was ok but you expect to find local product, handmade jam, butter, bread and fresh cheese from this amazing region that has a lot to offer. the swimming pool was that crowded that you couldn’t even relax and sometimes find a sit.

Location was amazing, views were absolutely stunning, staff was friendly, pool was clean. Experiences like cantucci-making and wine tastings were great touches.
Air conditioning was not sufficient, Wi-Fi went out one night after rain and was not restored from evening to morning, food was good but not as amazing as offsite. Also, lots of families so this wasn’t as great of a stay for couples.

Ah, where do I begin! The minute we drove up to the courtyard we felt tranquilly. After very busy 4 days in Rome, Borgo Tre Rose was exactly what we needed! I honestly cannot explain in words how beautiful this place is. Every single member of staff that we met greeted us with a warm Italian smile and welcome, people make Borgo Tre Rose :). Thank you, Grazie, Hvala!
the fact that I had to leave :(

The location and surrounding landscape is beautiful but the positive aspects stop there.
- As soon as we arrived the receptionist had an attitude about opening the gate so we could drive into the property. More about the staff later though.
- The rooms are extremely dated and our shower head did not latch on properly so we had to hold it the entire time.
- The AC is also very dated and extremely loud. If you are a light sleeper you will NOT be able to sleep with it on.
- There is no drink service at the pool so if you went to get a drink, you’ll have to walk up to the bar and face the eternally unhappy staff. Oh, and you’ll have to rent a towel for the pool.
- The hotel only provided two rolls of toilet paper and if you wanted another you had to pay for it.
- The worst thing was the attitude of the staff. They acted as though they were doing you a favour the entire time. One day at 3 pm, we asked reception whether it would be possible to eat something and the receptionist proceeded to laugh at us and say that it was a bit late for lunch. I insisted and she said she’d see whether they could make us a sandwich. We were able to get a small platter of ham and cheese and when we sat down we were rudely advised that they wanted to close. Mind you, the tables were not set and we were outside so they could easily close even with us there. He then asked us how long we’d be and I said it wouldn’t take us more than 10 minutes to eat and the waiter grumpily conceded. At checkout, the receptionist (who previously laughed at us), sarcastically remarked that we had eaten at the restaurant after all. She then charged me service charge for eating there which I contested as there was absolutely no service. We were handed a tray and rudely told to go and eat somewhere else. I told her I refused to pay for service as we weren’t served, if anything we were insulted and made to feel like we shouldn’t dare sit there. She proceed to tell me that they did us a favour by even serving us and that she hopes I don’t let a “sandwich” ruin my experience.

We loved Borgo Tre Rose, it is in an incredible location, our room was beautiful and the furniture authentic and traditional. Pool is beautiful, restaurant was good and breakfast perfect with lots of options. Staff was helpful and respectful.
We loved how quite and authentically Tuscan this place is. Will definitely come back.
Nothing related to the property itself, but in respect of non smokers, smokers should have designated areas to smoke on the property.
