The location was perfect. Just off the main tourist streets. It was easy to walk to key tourist sites.

There was a problem with the plumbing. The hosts were incredibly responsive to address the issue and worked very hard to make sure we were taken care of, which we appreciated.

Great location walking distance to main attractions and train station at Syntagma Square (5-8 min walk). Comfortable apartment on pretty quiet street. Comfortable beds, clean, well equipped with a coffee machine, shower amenities and a bottle of water. Great communication from host with easy to follow entry instructions.

Apartment 8 (2 bedrooms 2 queen beds and 1 twin bed) is a basement apartment with 2 small windows permanently covered and on a sidewalk level (no daylight). I has a strong musky smell and mildew in the shower. There is no Kitchenette - just coffeemaker and a small refrigerator at the entrance (no microwave or hot plate, kitchen table or basic dishes). The place is not well maintained (stained walls, exposed pipes and electric wires) and feels unclean. Tiny, internal patio is shared space with several other apartments. Street is so closed to bed that one hears every passing car or person walking on a narrow sidewalk outside the basement window. Owner doesn’t provide a key but only access code which is so simple/ direct that doesn’t seem to be changed by the owner, and therefore makes the place not feel adequately secured.

The location was perfect as it was close to lots of restaurants, shops and landmarks, it was great value for money and there was great communication with the host.
