This was our second stay at this lovely home. Karin and Rick are wonderful hosts and have thought of absolutely everything imaginable to make our stay hassle-free and luxurious! The spacious home has 5 very comfortable bedrooms for adults, plenty of table space, outdoor seating, games and books, beautiful landscaping, and picturesque sunset views. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking daily from the dock on the property. In addition to the beach, this year we were able to take excursions to the North Carolina Aquarium, the Nags Head Woods Preserve, and the Sandy Run Park. The Wright Brothers Memorial was much more interesting than anticipated! We enjoyed the most wonderful meals at the Colington Cafe and also at Noosa Beach Grille. So much to do, so little time… Thank you, we look forward to visiting again.

This house did not disappoint! The lovely dock made for a beautiful view of the sunset each evening. The location was perfect. It seemed as if you were isolated but only a few minutes from anything you need. The host attended to the most beautiful details and was completely attentive to any need we had. Thank you, Karin!

Such a lovely home! We so enjoyed our stay at this absolutely stunning newly renovated/decorated home with luxurious sleeping accommodations for EVERYONE and with multiple family gathering spaces. Sunset views from the backyard, back deck, and private pier are amazing and make perfect photo backdrops. The screened porch offered a cozy hang out space on the rainy days. The fresh breeze is scented with gardenia and jasmine from the beautifully landscaped yard. I had to "stop and smell the gardenias" every time we ventured out. We rented kayaks for the week, and were able to kayak and fish daily directly from the backyard pier. My husband caught his all time best catch when the weather brought in a school of redfish! The beach at the Southern Shores access is beautiful, and the public beach access near Dare Recreational Center is great for evening walks. Both accesses have nearby uncrowded tennis courts. We enjoyed an art/craft fair and numerous nearby shops and restaurants in Corolla. Please try the blue crab meat tacos at "I Got Your Crabs"! With Carawan's Seafood Market, the numerous local farm stands, and the well-stocked kitchen, it was a hard choice to eat-in or eat-out. Overall, there was much more to see and do than we could possibly tackle in a week. I guess we'll just have to come back. After all, we have a new favorite place to stay!
