We had a very easy rental with great communications from our hosts. We felt well cared for and received welcome snacks which was so thoughtful after a long travel day. We had a great stay in this beautiful condo! This is a great location for folks wanting to be near the action. I gave it 3/5 for location simply b/c of our preference to be in a quieter area. However if you want to be close to restaurants and Cruz bay, this is a 5/5 location. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!

The villa was well-appointed and had EVERYTHING we could ask for to may our stay complete. We love a view and it was delivered! The kitchen was perfect, but with Cruz Bay so convenient, we went out most evenings. We love going to the beach so having beach chairs, towels, coolers, snorkels, and fins to use, really made it nice. We are light packers and the washer & dryer were helpful! We'd definately reccomend! 5 stars.

Nice condo close to Cruz Bay. You have to be in decent shape to make the walk back and fourth. Two of our friends could not do it. If you rent a car, be prepared to park on a very steep hill. Condo was well decorated. Kitchen was pretty well stocked. Could use some more glassware. Did not know we looked out onto the car ferry. Otherwise, great views. Short ride to all the beaches. We love John and will be back next year.

Our stay at at Estate Enighed was perfect. There were three of us, but enough space for 4 or more. The beds were nice, very important to us, and there are many pillows and linens if needed. The views were vast, and the space itself was a delightful open concept with two nice balconies. The kitchen is well stocked and the beach chairs, cooler and beach towels were very useful as was on-site laundry. Parking on such a steep slope takes some getting used to, but it’s worth it given the close proximity to town, the views and the solitude of the villa. It was very quiet in the evenings. We walked the hill to dinner every night after a full day exploring the island. The pool is okay, not a highlight. If television is important to your stay, you may want to get some instruction about its use. There is a large selection of dvd’s as well. Shannon, who greeted us at check-in, was wonderful, helpful and very responsive, thank you!! We would definitely stay again. -Annie

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was clean and had everything we needed. The property manager quickly helped out with small issues. The other reviews mentioned the hill. This is no normal hill, it’s like a mountain. We walked to town pretty easily, but the walk back is insane. A few nights we took a taxi back because the hill was torture. Condo was lovely. Hill wasn’t.

4 mangos has breathtaking views both day and night, the condo is clean, open, bright and most days we turned the AC off and let the breeze keep the place comfortable. Our little kids could handle the walk downtown with some help up some of the steeper hills. Condo management makes everything convenient and easy, and the place is well stocked with beach gear! This was our second year staying here and will definitely be back.

Mango Terrace was a beautiful home with great views of the ocean from our front balcony and bedroom balcony. It was probably the cleanest a VRBO that I ever visited (even the coffee pit was spotless). The bed was so comfortable and our balcony off the bedroom was lovely with comfortable furniture and beautiful views. The hosts had a nice supply of snorkel gear, beach chairs, and towels that we used daily. Check in was easy because a host met us at the property. It’s a quick walk to Cruz bay (down a steep hill…. Less than 5 minutes. The hosts were very responsive and answered all of our needs. Thank you for a great stay!

This is a beautiful, comfortable property with all amenities. Great AC and spectacular views from large balconies. We walked every night to downtown Cruz Bay for dinner and shopping. Nice pool as well - we were very happy here.

Great stay at this condo. Location is key! The walk up the hill to get there is very short. It will kick your ass your first couple times but then you get used to it. We didn’t rent a car and we walked everyday. 5min walk to downtown/restaurant area. Condo had plenty of things for us to use at the beach, towels snorkeling gear, beach chairs! On site Landry was a big plus. Would come back again!

The property was perfection! So spacious and clean and comfortable. The huge booklet of information provided by the host was our ultimate guide for the week on what do to and where to eat. The hill is no joke but that’s all of St John. Our group was a bit intimidated to walk it but got used to driving it after a few days. We traveled with an 18month old and the property was fine for a toddler. We will miss the sunset views!

If you are looking for amazing views and somewhere a little further from town, this is the villa for you! Dave and Julie made the process very easy and stress-free. Overall, great time!

Thank you to David and Julie for their prompt communication throughout the rental process and for their attention to details to ensure a relaxing vacation for our family. We were greeted at the house by Shannon who did a wonderful job familiarizing us with the house and the neighborhood. The condo is beautifully decorated, well stocked and has gorgeous views from sunrise to sunset from all indoor areas and the 2 decks. It was an easy walk to town and while steep and tiring on the way back up, it still only took us about 10 minutes. We walked into town each morning, ventured out in our Jeep all day to snorkeling destinations, then walked back to town for the evening. We would most definitely stay here again on a future visit to St. John.

Excellent property, location, amenities, and overall experience! Check in process was friendly and helpful. We loved using the beach chairs and cooler to the beach. We would love to return!

The property was clean and a short walk or drive from Cruz Bay. We enjoyed the pool on a couple occasions, which was a nice relief after a long day of beach going.

Family of five stayed very comfortably in this condo. The views from the balcony were amazing, the pool was clean and quiet, the location was perfect, a walk to town and quick drive to north shore beaches. We had a great week in St John and would recommend this condo highly. (As others have mentioned, the hill is steep, but that is St. John so is to be expected. )

Would go back. Accommodations were what we hoped for and a good location.

Clean and comfortable condo with amazing views from the two decks. Condo sits on a difficult hill for taxis (and people) to navigate, but it is convenient to town and -- again -- has amazing views.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The unit was well stocked with beach chairs, coolers, and swim gear. We cooked several nights, and the spice cabinet and grill were incredibly useful. The unit is close enough to walk to Cruz Bay for shopping and restaurants which we did nearly ever day.

What a great location and beautiful views. My sons and I walked to town every night for dinner Property manager was very accommodating after our flight was cancelled for 2 days.

We had a great time - with lots of sunset photos from the balconies. The kitchen and bedrooms have all the amenities you need. Be aware that the street is steep, and you will want a 4 wheel drive Jeep or similar vehicle.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the apartment and would stay there again. It was set up well for relaxing and for allowing some of us to do some work. We enjoyed the views off the balconys each morning and every evening/sunset. The proximity to town let us walk back and forth easily. Other reviewers have mentioned that this sits atop a hill - and the walk up and down is vigorous. But after the first day, we found routes and became acclimated. I'm smiling as I type - we had a terrific time.

Property and views were spectacular!! Lots of space and amenities! Loved that you could walk to so many places. Only downside was the hills/parking. We eventually got the hang of it .. kind of scary the first few times.

We and our two adult children visited in December. The condo was located just a short (but very steep) walk from the downtown area near the passenger ferry. It took some getting used to the narrow streets, driving on the left side and very steep hills but just added to the charm and beauty of the island and we loved the location. The view from the patio and living room was beautiful at both sunrise and sunset. The space was great, had everything we needed in the kitchen and we appreciated the beach chairs, towels, snorkel gear and cooler which we threw in the back of our jeep to explore a new beach each day. They also had games and a big collection of DVD movies. The check in and out processes were a breeze and we appreciated Shannon meeting us in person to let us into the condo. Communication before arrival was great and they were always quick to answer any questions we had. Thank you!

The Villa was great. Very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the beach towels, chairs and cooler. Only complaint is that hill! It is no joke.

Property was very well equipped. Very clean. fantastic views. While it is close to the shops/restaurants and bars of Cruz Bay, I would not recommend walking back and forth. The hills are pretty steep.

We had a great experience here. The condo was clean and well kept. The owners responded quickly and we’re helpful in terms of information about the area, taxi drivers, etc. Overall we had a great experience.

Great place with beautiful views, décor, and all the amenities you would need. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and although we didn't even use the second bedroom, this would be the perfect spot for a small family or group of friends. Kitchen has all that you need, comfortable bed, spacious, and great porches with gorgeous views. Short walk to Cruz Bay where you will find everything you need. We had a rental car just for a few days to explore, but other than that we walked everywhere. On occasion, we would take a taxi back in the evenings. The hill that is mentioned in other reviews is no joke. We took the scenic water way most of the time, but if you're up for it, the hill route is about 5 min less into town. The host were very responsive and our greeter, Shannon, was absolutely wonderful! We had a great time and hated to leave!

We really enjoyed our stay. Seeing the ferry come into the harbor, the storms roll in, the meteor shower and of course the sunsets was perfect. Snorkle gear, towels, chairs and cooler were appreciated. The sunscreen and bug spray (assume it was a collection from previous renters) was a nice surprise. The hill is something to be aware of-especially when you are unloading groceries-but manageable. Nice furniture indoor and out. Pleasant art and well stocked kitchen. Just a tip-don’t take Hill St all the way down or back from “downtown”. Go along the water and make the gradual climb. Use that route for your Jeep as well to avoid bumpy road along car ferry entrance.
