The location was better than I thought. There's a beach right down the street around the corner from the Starbucks which is next to the motel. The staff was really nice and housekeeping was very polite. They were very accommodating and very professional. We are a family of 4 and have 2 kids under the age of 11 and that was taken into consideration when I checked in (which i appreciated). The beds are very comfortable. Super quite at night which was very nice. Many things around: stores, laundry mats, grocery, restaurants etc.

The shower is a bit too small for my liking. When I needed to bathe my 8 year old it was difficult as the shower head was too high and the water barely touched my son. I tried to adjust it but couldn't. Not a huge deal but made shower time challenging for my 8 year old.

On a family trip to help our father/grandfather, my siblings and adult nephew stayed here in one of the family rooms. Just down the road is Sunny Cove beach, which was absolutely gorgeous. We had a kitchenette and table, so we were able cook for ourselves there. It wasn’t far from my dad’s hospital and close to the funeral home of Santa Cruz. Jane and dog Pax were so welcoming and so accommodating, making our stay great.

Just a couple notes for travelers: The family rooms are on second floor. There aren’t any doors between the two bedrooms, and you have to pass through one room to get to bathroom. It was on the small side for 4 adults.

Bobby and Jane at the front desk were so friendly and helpful, I felt like I was staying with friends welcoming me into their home. The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

The property in the rooms were amazing we had our expectations blown out of the water the location is friendly as well as the manager she made us feel like we were at home went completely out of her way to make sure we are comfortable and had everything we need even got personal and called us and texted us about our reservations and anything that was going on at the hotel this will be a regular spot for us in the future.
