It was our first time, very cozy, the room was very clean, the view was amazing, walkable to main st. The staff has been very kind and friendly, delicious breakfast. We will definitely come back as soon as possible

Orchard Hill Inn was a great find for us! There are cottages away from the main hotel that are cozy and cute. We stayed at one of them. A short walk from our cottage was a beautiful manufactured creek with a pond, lily pads, and goldfish. To top it off there was complimentary happy hour and an amazing sit down breakfast. Each staff person was warm and friendly, and seemed to really enjoy working there in that atmosphere. Loved our stay!!

The property is wonderful and the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay special! Would highly recommend it

The breakfast and afternoon appetizers were phenomenal. The staff were incredibly friendly and warm. The lily pond was stunning and the best place to relax. The whole experience was fabulous.

I unfortunately don't have a lot of nice things to say about this property. Yes the area is pretty, and rustic. However, the bed was so terribly uncomfortable, that my husband and I left a day earlier than planned. Also the shower, is a hand held wand, not something that is typical in a hotel. It was unfortunate, but we left early, and went to another town nearby and stayed there.

We came here for a one night getaway and had a pleasant stay. The property was quaint and quiet. Staff was absolutely phenomenal. We dined at the restaurant and food was really good. The continental breakfast that was included was quite complete and yummy considering the size of the place. We will definitely be back!

Outstanding hidden gem. Easy walk into Julian. Very quiet and the star gazing was awesome. Staff is friendly and very accommodating. Happy hour until 530 includes 2 drinks per guest and morning breakfast was excellent. We will stay here again

We loved it! We have stayed at a few different places over the years as we have visited Julian. Orchard Hill Inn is our new Go To! place. What a jewel this inn is. Quiet, beautiful, great staff, fun! The inn is walking distance to Main Street. But, we would not have needed to go to Main Street. We could have spent our whole get away on the grounds of the inn property and we did spend most of our time there. Corn hole , walking paths, patios. Meals at the lodge was convenient and delicious. Our cottage was comfortable...and romantic. The whole experience is charming. Orchard Hill Inn...we will be back!

Beautiful grounds and enjoyable stay - we stayed in the Penthouse. The Penthouse cottage was large, clean and comfortable. The fridge was very old and extremely noisy and the adult shower only had cold water. Used the kids 4 ft tall shower since that one had hot water. Would love to return, but given the cost, would expect a quiet fridge and a working adult shower.

This is a great place with an outstanding staff. The main lodge had a very nice breakfast in the morning and a lovely happy hour the cottage that we stayed in was nice, but it was a little rundown and it needed more seating little things that they advertised refrigerator was full with sodas and water for you. There was nothing and there was a lot of little paint chips and things on the walls and stuff. They just need to fix it up a little bit but overall it’s a wonderful place. We will definitely go again.

It’s a beautiful quiet place. The staff were super-friendly. I stayed in a lodge room, and it was totally fine. The grounds are very pleasant. Breakfast and happy hour included. My only real criticism is that breakfast is from 8:30-10, and I think that’s too late. It should start at least at 7:30.

We stayed overnight recently on a short trip from Orange County. We were so thrilled with this place that we can’t wait to come back again and explore the area more. The hotel itself is quaint and beautiful. The grounds were covered with an array of flowers and then apple trees were blossoming so it felt like we were in Kyoto during cherry blossom season. We spent a bit of time walking around outside the lobby and the wooded areas around the end. The staff could not be nicer or more helpful. The evening happy hour with charcuterie was amazing, and when we returned from walking downtown later, they lit the fire pit in the field outside our window and we enjoyed a long evening With some wine by the fire to end the day. In the morning, we were met by an absolutely wonderful breakfast, complete with mimosas made with local apple cider instead of orange juice (orange juice was also available). Far better food than you will normally find with an included breakfast at a hotel. The property is an easy walk to the main drag in Julian. You can visit the shops and maybe spend some time at the Julian brewery as we did and then stroll back to the hotel We walked to the mine tour up the hill on Sunday morning and that was a lot of fun also. Everything within walking distance. While checking out at noon on Sunday we already knew we would be coming back as soon as we could find time. We give this place an A .

Great place! Feels secluded in the mountains but only a minutes walk into town. The private cabins are perfect with all the amenities you need. Happy hour at the main reception great and the staff amazing. Highly Recommend

Valmore room Great. Beautiful Cool two sided fireplace on countdown timer. Only complaint is the heaters range from on/off was too wide, felt like a 3-4 degree swing, need covers don’t need covers off and in. The free breakfast was excellent. Very nice staff!!
