James’s Gravesend apartment was the worst experience I’ve had with a booking in my entire life. Buckle your seatbelts: this was unpleasant. My family and I had four days booked here. This is relevant as it was a short amount of time and we wanted to make the most of it because we haven’t seen each other in years. Upon arriving, the problems came fast. Walking in through the kitchen / living area, we were greeted by: * dirty dishes all over the kitchen and in the sink * filthy countertops * a fridge full of someone else’s food and spattered with dark food stains * dirty, completely full garbage cans * a dirty stovetop with streaks and smears from someone’s cooking on it * the smell of old food that we later learned was congealed food stuff all over the inside of the microwave * cups and plates with old food and leftover coffee in them The living room was just as bad. It hadn’t been vacuumed, there were random items like old markers laying around, and (most annoying of all) small insects flying around constantly. The bathroom shower had steaks all the way down the shower door and used loofahs with old hair still attached to them. In our bedroom, we found other people’s hair in our sheets, proving they had not been properly washed. I’ll say this, so I’m not accused of lying: we asked James for some more pillows, which he secured for us later that day. We also asked him to remove the “hairy” sponge from the bathroom but, like, why was that there when we came in? I think James is trying to market this as a “no frills” type experience but this place was dirty from end to end and we were actually to put off to spend much time here at all. We would have moved but it was the holiday season and everything was booked up. Lastly, special shout out to booking.com for not helping in any way either. We reached out to them about a refund and they reached out to James over the course of two weeks. They told us he wouldn’t refund us and neither would they.

I wanted to share my feedback regarding my recent stay at the professional house. Unfortunately, I had a really bad experience and I don't think I'll be returning in the future. Firstly, there was an incident with parking space, which escalated into a verbal argument between the host and I. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and made me feel extremely uncomfortable during my stay. Additionally, I was shocked to discover that the host entered my room without my consent and relocated my belongings to another room. This was apparently due to a new online booking, but it became evident that I had been checked into the wrong room for the first three nights. It was quite inconvenient and frustrating to find out about this mistake so late into my four nights stay. Furthermore, I was disappointed to find out that breakfast was not offered at the professional house which was paid for. This was unexpected as most B&Bs typically include breakfast as part of the experience. Additionally, the rooms were not cleaned (spider & their webs)and the house itself was not maintained throughout my entire stay. It felt quite neglected and didn't meet the standards I would expect from a professional establishment. All in all, this entire experience left a negative impression on me. I hope James take this feedback into consideration and make improvements to ensure a more satisfactory experience for future guests.

The service was exceptional. No effort was spared to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. Very clean and quiet property within walking distance of the ststion. I definitely would recommend it.
