VILLA TERESA ist auf einem Hügel im Chianti-Gebiet gelegen, im Herzen der Toskana. Florenz, Siena und Arezzo sind in derselben Entfernung (30 km / weniger als 20 Meilen). Die kleine Stadt Cavriglia ist zu Fuß erreichbar.
Das Haus vor kurzem restauriert und in ein charmantes Landhaus durchtränkt in der Atmosphäre und Geschichte verwandelt. Es ist Teil eines kleinen Bauernhofes, der Olivenöl produziert.
VILLA TERESA beherbergt eine einzelne Gruppe von Gästen zu einer Zeit. Als einzige Bewohner ist die Qualität und Privatsphäre ihres Aufenthaltes garantiert.
Der Garten und Poolbereich ist groß und gut gepflegt. Sie sind eingezäunt und haben ein komplettes Beleuchtungssystem. Pool Abmessungen sind 14 X 7 Meter, Tiefe von 1,5 bis 2,1 Meter. Kleiner Pool misst 14 X 2. 3 Meter, Tiefe 0,5 Meter. Badezimmer / Umkleideraum neben dem Pool. Pool Eröffnung ca. April bis Oktober.

We stayed at Villa Teresa for 7 days for my husbands 30th birthday celebration with 17 friends and family. Francesca was an expert host, extremely responsive and kind. She coordinated everything seamlessly and we are so grateful for the work she put into making our stay as comfortable and fun as possible. Highly recommend Villa Teresa for any vacation! We miss the pool and Ray!

When my husband and I first got engaged, we decided to elope! We knew we wanted a small “backyard wedding”, but also get a vacation out of the place we’d travel to. After scouring the internet for weeks, we stumbled upon Villa Teresa. Between the photos, proximity to the airport, and rave reviews, it was an easy decision to book.
From the moment we booked (1.5 years in advance), and even before, the host Francesca was incredibly communicative. She helped us coordinate van services, winery tours, not to mention an entire wedding. Prior to our stay, we also booked special dinners, which are offered by the villa. We had several individuals with a gluten allergy and Francesca made sure to accommodate. All the food was beyond our expectations and the service was incredible. We can’t recommend these extras more they truly enhanced our stay! Our favorite meal was the lemon sage ravioli, which was made during the cooking class.
Villa Teresa blew us away and was better than we could have ever imagined. The incredibly spacious and private rooms made it feel as though we had rented not just a house but an entire hotel for our guests. The infinity pool was our favorite place to end the day as we admired the surrounding hills. Villa Teresa was by far the ultimate way to experience Tuscany and we could not recommend it more.

Villa Teresa was an absolute dream! From the initial drive up the olive groves to the beautifully manicured gardens, to the rooftop views of Tuscany. The grounds and the house were immaculately kept and we were welcomed by the most gracious and dutiful host Francesca. The meal her and her staff prepared was delicious, authentic and fresh with local flavors and olive oil produced at the Villa. It was by far the best meal our family had in Italy. We especially LOVED the bolognese! The pool area is even more stunning in person. It’s in close proximity to the house and has tables for eating and chairs for lounging. It even has a bathroom and outdoor shower with hot water. Our family didn’t want to leave the house because the pool was so spectacular. We also loved hanging out and eating breakfast on the back balcony and spent the evenings admiring the Tuscan sunsets from the rooftop balcony. With a grocery store close by, we stocked the fridge and did lots of cooking in the fully equipt kitchen. The location was wonderful with easy access to the main roads and the cute town of Montevarchi where we frequented for gelato-also close to many wineries. Air conditioning worked well and was worth a little extra cost. The rooms had plenty of space for hanging and storing clothes and the bathrooms were updated with great shower pressure and plenty of hot water for a house of 16 people. So happy with our decision to stay here and would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Teresa. We are used to high end and what I can say is this is not the Ritz, but in some ways it is very close. Francesca was almost like your own personal concierge - arranged tours, drivers, stocked the house, incredibly responsive and not at all what you would expect from a VRBO. If this is your first time in Tuscany and you want to do it right - stay here. House was charming, pool as advertised and the bbq was fun. Only issue for an American is you won't get the AC as cold as you like, but that's literally it. The outside dining is a must, so much fun. We will be coming back again for sure.

The villa is in a beautiful setting in a rural section of Eastern Tuscany. Bedrooms and bath’s configuration perfect for our group of 15. We did not use all the beds on the second floor but occupied all bedrooms. As typical, the kitchen is small if you want to cook for a large group but doable. The original kitchen and service entrance is below the ground level and accessed daily by the owners who arrive through a door inside the house. If this creeps you out get over it, the owners are lovely people protecting their property. We had excellent daily housekeeping because we cooked most nights (5/7) plus breakfast and snacks. The owners can arrange for prepared meals if desired but we did not use this service.
The pool and grounds are well kept and inviting. The lounge seats and outdoor tables and chairs are substantial and well kept. We spent a lot of time outdoors and used the multiple grills.
The local town of Cavriglia is a ten minute walk away and has 3 restaurants. There is a very useful COOP grocery store with most supplies for a quick shop, anything more substantial will require a trip to the enormous COOP in Montevarchi 7 miles away.
The neighbors are farmers and have dogs that live outside and occasionally bark at night. I complained one night to the owners about one persistent yapper and I believe a discussion ensued since we were not bothered again.
I highly recommend this villa. My family and friends would all return.

Our family of 15 people just spent a glorious week at Villa Teresa. Everything was beyond perfect. From the ease of finding the villa to the impeccable conditions of both the villa and the property, the friendliness and knowledgeable hosts, to the divine meals we had every night. Francesca was responsive to each and every request and always with a smile. You will not be disappointed spending your vacation at Villa Teresa. It’s ideally located to visit all the top sites, although it will be very difficult for you to leave the property. The villa is immaculately maintained and extremely spacious. More than enough room for all 15 of us (all adults) to enjoy our time together. I highly recommend Villa Teresa as anyone’s choice for the region.

The facilities are amazing. This is a beautiful LARGE villa with great amenities. The location is perfect for venturing out into the Tuscany countryside. Its about an hour away from Florence by train and an hour from Siena by car. The drive to San Gimignano is spectacular. Plan on getting back from San Gimignano before nightfall because the road is very winding.
Francesca, our host, was very helpful and usually would respond quickly with answers to our questions. We did have some communications problems during the planning stages of our trip but all issues were resolved in plenty of time.
Francesca was a good resource to help us plan wine tours, sightseeing, and find good restaurants. It would be helpful, however, if there was a guide book that had all this information already available. It would also be helpful if the guidebook contained tips on using the appliances available in the villa.

Loved our time at Villa Teresa. Beautiful house and gardens, wonderful pool. Plenty of dining seating, garden seating and lounge chairs by the pool. Very accommodating and warm host and incredible olive oil they produce. Should have had more dinners prepared by our hosts as the food was delicious (and no prep/cleanup). Hope to find our way back again soon!

The Villa Teresa was an absolute dream vacation (despite it raining almost every day!). From the moment we drove up to the stately villa and we’re greeted by our hosts to the day we left, everything was wonderful. The villa itself was perfect for our large group - everyone had enough space to get some quiet time but the main rooms accommodated our large group perfectly. The pool is situated with an incredible view of the countryside. We just wish the sun would have come out to enjoy it more! The villa is a short walk into Cavriglia where there were a few good restaurants and cafes and a grocery store. All in all a perfect vacation under the Tuscan Sun (sometimes🌧️)

Luxury in Tuscany
5 stars all around, the villa was perfect. The family hosts cooked dinners for us each night - delicious. The pool was welcome after various sight-seeing excursions, quite large and cold. A grocery in town provided breakfast items and, if "home", dinner left-overs made lunch. We hated to leave!

This host is not to be trusted
Though the villa grounds were amazing the host Francesca was a nightmare to work with. She provided price quotes In writing for catering (done by her family), the weekly AC (listed in discretion here as .50 euro/kw) and the electric. Once I paid the non/refundable deposit, she raised the prices. Once I paid the full rental she raised them again. The catering was terrible and didn’t provide enough food for guests and after all her price raises wound up being way more then if we eat out. She lied about everything, and would back me into corners knowing I’d have little choice but pay what she charged, like quoting 150-300 for ac, but then when my guests arrived suddenly sending me a text that now it’s gonna be double that. Communication with her was impossible as she was unwilling to listen or be helpful in any way. At checkout our bill was TWICE what we had originally agreed and she refused to honor any of her former pricing. I would NOT risk renting this villa if I were you.

Francesca was fantastic. Very helpful, accommodating and went above and beyond on a number of occasions.
The property was as advertised. If anything the building and property is larger than I expected from the pictures.
We asked for the cooking class and for 3 meals - each was a fantastic experience.
The group (young and old, from Canada, Australia and Africa) had nothing but good things to say about the experience.

Really loved this amazing house.
With plenty of rooms so each family had really nice privacy with its own bathroom.
Swimming pool one of the most beautyful i have seen.
Fransesca the host was really nice to us, we had a lot questions and inquires to her, and she was always available to help us :).

Dream Wedding at Villa Teresa
My fiancé and I are from the U.S. and had the idea to do a wedding in Tuscany. As I began inquiring about villas in the area, Villa Teresa immediately stood out to me. Francesca was so personal in her responses and provided great details on what could be done on the property.
Upon booking and arrival, the property exceeded every expectation. Francesca and her family were there to help with anything we needed (which was quite a bit). The villa is a little less than an hour from the Florence airport and is walking distance from the cutest town where you can find restaurants and groceries.
Francesca organized a cooking class for us one night at the villa, she gave us restaurant recommendations, and she helped us navigate the trains for our day trip to Florence. She has a lot of contacts in the area to make your trip as seamless as possible.
The wedding day itself was directly out of a fairytale and I could not have done it without her. Her sweet mother even made custom olive oil labels from the property and handed them out as party favors to all the wedding guests with about 24-hours notice! Truly above and beyond.
If you're looking for a true tuscan experience with a large group of people, this place will not disappoint. Highly recommend!!

Villa de maître splendide et très bien entretenue; extérieurs de qualité. Belle piscine.
Francesca, la propriétaire, a été très réactive à nos demandes, tout en restant discrète pour ne pas s’immiscer dans notre séjour. Toujours souriante. Personne de confiance : elle nous a restitué sans discussion et entièrement un montant versé 2 ans auparavant lors d’un séjour avorté en raison de la Covid.
Emplacement central (si on a une voiture)pour des excursions à Florence, Sienne ou Arezzo.
Possibilité de demander aux propriétaires de faire la cuisine tous les soirs. On a choisi des repas simples (pasta, etc.), dans ce cas excellent rapport qualité prix .
Lieu vraiment à conseiller.

Maison magnifique, dans un cadre magnifique, Super accueil et service de Francesca sur place, très bon repas à domicile, c'est top ! Le seul petit bémol : peu d'activités ou d'animations aux alentours (hors visites et agrotourisme), en particulier avec des enfants

Absolutely Beautiful!
We travelled from Canada with our family and friends and were married on the property. It is a stunning villa! There was plenty of room for all 19 of us, the home was very clean and inviting. Francesca, family and staff were more than welcoming and accommodating! We loved the cooking lesson, and our wedding was even more fabulous than we imagined! Francesca was very helpful with helping in booking a florist, hair stylist etc. We had the wedding dinner catered by the villa and it was so delicious! It is hard to describe into words how much we enjoyed our week there and our wedding! We wish we could have stayed longer! The location is perfect. We will be back for sure.

Lovely stay at beautiful villa in Tuscany!
We had a wonderful stay at this fellow. The hosts were all lovely people and we really enjoyed our time in the Villa and especially our meals cooked by the Villa. The pool was perfect for our kids. The Villa is within an hour driving distance to most cities. The villa is beautiful and there are some nice trails around that you can hike run or walk.

Beautiful Tuscan Villa-Absolutely Recommend
I just spent a week at the villa in June 2019 with a group of friends and family the villa is lovely and the location is very well suited to be able to get to all of Tuscany. We did day trips to Radda, Sienna, San Gimignano-Voltarre, Florence and Montalcino and had a day to enjoy a local winery and the pool at the villa. The only problem we had was two of the mornings we woke up and the water was out. The owners responded quickly to fix it but it did delay our day to Florence which was disappointing.
Apparently due to the dry weather it has led to issues with the well. After the water problem the second morning they did stop their irrigation system and that fixed the problem. Unfortunately you can not control the weather. Francesca the owners daughter was extremely helpful and worked with us on any request. I highly recommend staying at Villa Teresa. I certainly will stay again next time I am in Tuscany.

Our entire group had a lovely stay at Villa Teresa. We were very impressed with the bedrooms, all large with lovely decorative details. The first floor rooms with their very tall ceilings may have been grander, but the top floor had charming beamed ceilings, and truly fantastic views. Most of the bedrooms had two windows for a nice cross breeze. The dining room could accommodate our large group nicely, and there was a lovely outside eating area too. The infinity pool was spectacular, but too cold for swimming at the beginning of June, but this may have been an anomaly because it had rained so much prior to our stay. The water falls into a baby pool, and the grandchildren did use that gleefully.Lovely outdoor areas with potted lemon trees and roses everywhere; great barbecue facilities and fantastic for entertaining.We alternated our evenings cooking for ourselves and having meals prepared for us by Francesca’s family which worked very well.Francesca herself was just lovely, funny, and absolutely charming.I absolutely recommend this property

Incredibly Beautiful Villa
The pictures don't do this villa justice. Every room is larger, brighter, and prettier than in the pictures. The grounds are stunning and you truly feel like Tuscan nobility.
We hosted 22 people and had plenty of room. Francesca was very attentive and always a available without being intrusive. Unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to eat outside more than once, but we all fit in the dining room. If weather does allow you to dine outside you should because it's beautiful. My only complaint is with the amount of cookware and serving dishes available. Hosting so many people required a lot food and we had to improvise to get the food onto the table. This is an easy fix and wouldn't be a big deal to everyone. There are, however, plenty of plates, bowls, cups, glasses, wine glasses, and utensils.
Cavriglia is a charming town with some good restaurants and a decently stocked Coop. For large shopping trips the Coop in Montevarchi (15 minute drive away) has everything you will need. We found this location very remote and private, but accessible to all of Tuscany. Overall I highly recommend Villa Teresa and would definitely return.

August family holiday
A wonderfully secluded villa in a spectacular location with stunning 360 degree views over the countryside from the roof terrace. Cristina and her family made us feel so welcome - the meals supplied were delicious and they were always available to help with anything needed. In my opinion a car is needed but we were a group of 12 family members with numerous cars so everyone could get out and about as required. The villa itself is huge with large bedrooms and well designed outdoor space. A steep hill down to the pool means not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. The pool itself was exceptionally cold for late August but a refreshing dip nonetheless! My only comment would be that the downstairs communal areas/kitchen a little small for maximum number of guests but the benefits definitely outweigh the negatives!

Superbe villa
Vous serez parfaitement accueillis dans cette villa spacieuse, magnifiquement restaurée et parfaitement entretenue. Tout est prévu pour votre confort, les chambres sont spacieuses, les salles de bains très agréables, les extérieurs ont tout le mobilier nécessaire, et l’immense piscine offre une vue splendide.

Wonderful stay in Toskany
Thank you for amazing week that we spent in Villa Teresa. Very good location close to Florence and Siena. Quiet neighborhood. Beautiful pool with great view. Villa very good equipped. Owners of property are very nice and easy to communicate. We tried good taste olive oil that they produce there. Great option for those who want to explore country side of Chianti. A fantastic house in the heart of Tuscany
We were a group of 22 people (adults and children) who stayed in Villa Teresa for a week. The house is a wonderful stone house with amazing rooms and attached bathrooms to each room. The kitchen worked well for cooking for the whole group and grills for outdoor cooking are available. The Pergolan with long table is great for dining.
The large swimming pool is fantastic and you have the Tuscan hills with olive groves and vineyards constantly in sight
Cristina cooked two amazing meals to the whole group for a very reasonable price. Cristina and Luca were very nice hosts who make one feel welcome
Would highly recommend this accommodation and will be happy to return
