We had a wonderful experience here! The apartment is quiet and secluded. You barely realize you’re in the middle of a city in this place. Sylvia was kind and very helpful as well. Highly recommend!

Professional and comfortable

We were so comfortable staying at this beautiful estate. We didn't even want to leave to go out to eat. Had Food Terminal deliver! The Spa wing was amazing and the outside pool 🏊‍♀️ was very relaxing. We couldn't get enough. Sylvia was a sweetheart. Great value

The location was central to multiple work sites in Atlanta and that made this a great choice. The accommodations were peaceful and secure. The neighborhood had winding wide streets that encouraged easy walks to exercise. Sylvia was wonderful as a hostess!

Place is exactly as advertised. Sylvia is wonderful and very professional.

This place is to die for my spouse and I had a excellent time, this was probably top five in all places we’ve stayed Sylvia was indeed a super host we definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a exquisite getaway.

We had a lovely stay. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the apartment was when we arrived and somewhat disappointed the next day when we could hear someone talking on the phone, a dog barking, and a horned instrument being practiced in the room above us. I also found a pair of men's underpants under the bed when checking out. They were not my husband's. My only real concern was that I slipped in the shower on the mat while exiting the shower despite taking precaution to secure it to the floor before entering. That aside, the place is large. The amenities are great. The location is wonderful. Check in/out was a breeze. The owner was easy going. And you do have your privacy. So for us it was a solid win and I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Wonderful stay , felt like home .

We loved the hot tub and spa room. Slyvia was very helpful. I wish the fireplace worked. The book were very dusty. But the positives about the place made up for it. I hope to stay again.

I’ll start with the good-The pictures match perfectly! Great neighborhood- The best was the spa room(hot tub, steam room and sauna) we used it everyday/night! It’s very private! This is someone’s basement and it was cozy! Huge TV and pool table. Private parking and safe! Now for the 2 star review part-It could used a deep cleaning, looks like the house cleaner does minimal to keep it up. You can tell cleaning supplies were old and dirty, just thrown under the sinks- some has food particles on them. That was the disappointing part - not clean. We rewashed almost everything we ate off. We planned on cooking all meals here and would have if it was cleaner. Cabinets and walls could use a good wiping. The vents/ fan has thick dust and the carpet/couch had stains. A few pillows has rips and should be tossed- very old outdated books and games they were just dust collectors. All these things can be taken care if with a detailed eye- so don’t count this place out- cozy for a small family to just be with each other while seeing downtown ATL and Stone Mountain.

Such a treat for a romantic weekend getaway!

We booked this place to have a private getaway close to home for our anniversary. We absolutely loved our stay! The hot tub was by far our favorite part! We couldn’t get the water in the steam shower to get warm but the steam got so hot in there it was actually quite nice to have the water a little cooler. Unfortunately we couldn’t get the sauna to work but we chalked that up to user error and just went back to the hot tub after a failed attempt at starting the sauna. The property is a shared space but we never even heard the owners. We had minimal contact through text with Sylvia and she was very pleasant and accommodating. The driveway is a bit steep and can be a little difficult to back out at night but there is separate parking for guests inside a gated area so you feel extremely secure when you stay here. We will definitely be checking for future availability whenever we need a little getaway to ourselves again!

This listing served us well for our family vacation. First, I want to say that this is a someone's basement, and they live upstairs. It is never explicitly stated in the description, and I feel like that would have been good to know. We were not expecting to interact with anyone, so that was a little awkward at times. She was always very pleasant and helpful, our personal preference though is to keep to ourselves. Also, it made us nervous about the noise our children made, the baby crying at night, etc. Hopefully we were not too disruptive. The place was fairly clean, only a little bit of hair from someone else in the bathroom. It needed dusting, otherwise everything was really nice. Floor was clean enough that we felt comfortable letting the baby crawl around. It is dated, but taken care of. The labels on everything made everything very user friendly. What drew us to the property was the spa wing and the pool. We enjoyed both of those features tremendously. The only slightly negative feedback I have is related to the use of the pool. Once we were already there, we were told not to use the pool for an hour each night for 3/6 of the nights of our trip, due to a neighbor being told they could have their swim lesson there. Not a huge deal, but it rubbed us the wrong way since we had already paid a good amount to be there and use the pool. It would have been nice to know up front, or at least asked if that was okay since we were already guests. General feedback, cooking our meals was a little bit of a struggle with only one warped pot, and the loose oven handle. Couldn't find any potholders. We brought paper products to use to cut down on dishes. We also enjoyed the pool table, and having the use of the washer and dryer was very handy. If you plan to stay here with small children, there is no tub. We washed the baby in the large kitchen sink though, and he loved it. There is access to two toilets, one bathroom shower. I don't really count the spa shower, since it only had cold water. Overall, this worked great for our low-key family vacation. We were only 20 minutes away from the things we wanted to do in the city, which was convenient. The area is beautiful and green. We went for a walk out at a nearby park one night. The basement felt very spacious and overrall, we enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I haven't been to Atlanta in years and wanted to visit for the weekend. At the same time, we did not want to stay in the downtown area due to traffic, parking, etc., but rather within a 15-minute drive of this area. Found this location and loved the experience. The owner of the residence was extremely gracious and accommodating. She provided a lot of information about the area and made you feel extremely comfortable. The space was extremely clean and spacious. The hot tub area - with sauna - was fantastic! Would highly recommend. Thank you for a great trip.

This is our second stay with Sylvia, we were here in June for over 3 weeks and Sylvia and Wendell were the best hosts ever. The apartment is absolutely gorgeous in June I brought my husband, daughter and mother with me, and loved the apartment and all the amenities, it was summer so we used the pool, hot tub and had a great time and it was an excellent base for exploring Atlanta. We loved it that much then when I returned with my son for 2 weeks in Atlanta I instantly rebooked the apartment with Sylvia and it didn't disappoint again. They were so helpful with anything we needed even loaning us a cooler so we could tailgate at the Falcon games. I will stay here every time I'm in Atlanta. I recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to stay in Atlanta. Sylvia and Wendell have now become friends are the nicest people you could meet, love to you both I give both the apartment and the hosts 5 stars plus you will not be disappointed staying here

My husband and I stayed here the week of Thanksgiving. We were in Atlanta to see our 2 sons who attend GT. The rental was everything you could ask for - clean, spacious, comfortable, well stocked kitchen and baths, and the awesome spa wing. We used the hot tub and saunas daily during our visit. The rental was large enough to handle our Thanksgiving dinner, as well as watching the football games on TV, and then playing pool and board games later in the evening. It was truly a relaxing getaway! The owners are extremely helpful and thoughtful. They provide all the necessities in their rental as well as local information on restaurants and shopping. We are planning to use this again when we visit Atlanta. It is superior to a hotel stay in every way imaginable. We would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Atlanta as you are only about 15 min from downtown.

Sylvia's hospitality was beyond amazing. The place was clean. If was the ultimate experience of being relaxed. Offered a lot of options if you wanted to stay inside the house like the spa, movies, pool table, or games. She listed the local restaurants and continuously checked in to make sure all was going well. You will most definitely want to book your next vacation here

The apartment was spacious, well-eqipped, secluded but not far from all Atlanta has to offer. The spa wing with hot tub, steam, shower and sauna was our favorite part. The kids loved the pool and diving board. Downtown is a half hour drive, close and convenient, although to be honest we didn't want to leave much! Perfect for a couple retreat or small family. (There is a small bed in the family room area and they can provide a second bed on request.) The family room area with TV and pool table is huge, plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen is a full kitchen with stove, fridge, dishwasher and deep sink. We ate most of our meals in, and the place was stocked with everything we could need. The property is beautifully landscaped. Really unique property and we can't wait to go back.

Stayed here for 6 weeks with my husband and two smalls kids. We loved it! Pool was awesome as was the steam shower. I'm sure hottub and sauna would be awesome, too, but it was too hot out for us to use them over the pool. Bed was very comfortable. Sylvia and Wendell are very kind. There is no way we could have been away for as long as we were without all the comforts of Sylvia's home. Thank you!

Took my wife here for her 30th birthday and had some of her friends from atlanta over. The owners where great about letting us have guest. We used there grill and everyone had a great time. The steam shower is a MUST if you visit this property. Thank you Sylvia for making my wife's birthday awesome.
