Had the best time, booked this hotel last minute and had the absolute best time! Rooms were clean, the view from all rooms was amazing, great variety for breakfast (including tasty jelly, fresh fruit and croissants), good coffee all day long, lovely lounge, the staff was very nice and helpful, got some good recommendations for restaurants and quintas and we prepared a dinner on the terrace and had a lovely sunset. Extra credits for the cat that loved to cuddle during sunset :)

Idyllic setting and exceptional service. Greeted by our gait Sandro who made for an amazing stay. The view from the garden is beautiful, overlooking the Douro valley. Looking forward to coming back.

The golden mirror is just a wonderful place to stay. We loved every minute there. And the proprietor is marvelous- super helpful and knowledgeable .

A fantastic property w/ unforgettable views. Staff very friendly and efficient but need to know Sunday pm dining options. Rooms were very nice ; best bed in all my travel.
