We had such an amazing stay at Carlibar Villa. The house really felt like a home. The property is as luxurious and beautiful as the pictures, but somehow cosier than expected. It was perfect. Everything is as described, accessible, clean, spacious. The train station is a 5-7 minute walk away, but Uber and taxis also arrive quite quickly if you're tight for time or want to avoid the rain! There's a large park right in front of the house with lots of green space and even a small river. A huge Asda and some high street shops and cafes are on the other side of the park. It's about a 10 minute walk to get there and it's actually further than it looks - but still very close and easy to run there for croissants in the morning! The gym and sauna are great! Netflix and Disney+ etc work on the TV in the main living room, the kitchen is PACKED with appliances and everything you need, plus plenty of food and snacks in the cupboards ... It was a really, really special stay. We were a group of 6-9 in and out of the house trying to spend as much time together as possible at Christmas, considering we all live around the world (and the ones living in Scotland had work at different times each day). But this house was the perfect base for us and kept all of us happy - from young couples, to step-mum, to old aunt, to boysy brothers - all of us had a beautiful experience here. The most memorable and noteworthy part for me and my husband was our experience with the host. After our flight was delayed, Ali picked us up from the airport herself and took great care of us the whole time. She supplied all the little bits we asked for to make the stay incredibly comfortable, and even brought over board games to encourage and support the family fun! She couldn't have been more helpful, more lovely, more accommodating. We can't wait to come back. One of my favourite stays ever. 10/10!

I liked everything the House had plenty of space I didn’t need anything during my stay the host even left us food and drinks in the fridge I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Glasgow the host was fantastic
