Rental was clean and plenty of space for our party of 10! Screened in porch was pleasant to sit out on even during rainy evenings. Loved having laundry on site too. Lights lighting up porch and back patio set the mood in the evenings. Kitchen is a bit small but we made it work and was able to make yummy meals. Plenty of pans, pots, dishes. Keurig and Coffee pot combo was great!

The inside of house was great very roomy and spacious. The outside was a disappointment. I was hoping to sit outside in the area they advertised but it was dirty and furniture was dirty. Really the whole front and side and back needs to be cleaned. I asked if chairs and umbrella would be provided and they had some but most of them are broken and worn out.

Was told upon arrival there was a broken faucet, a broken chair, a broken grill, and we found also a broken toilet seat…. We were told issues would be fixed the day of check in… someone came on the fourth day and said faucet could not be repaired…almost $2300, 7 days later , none of the repairs had been done…. We also take care of the rentals we use, and had to empty nasty vaccum in order to use it…. After , apparently seeing too many cars, on a camera, we assume, someone called and said that led them to think we had too many people staying in the house!!!!! There were also several dead bugs in the house…. We have been renting houses on Tybee for over 20 years…. Never had an experience like this .. I think we are entitled to a partial refund… certainly we will not do business here…. Oh, could not get door open, and when I called, a different company answered, said they had no record of my reservation…. After 3 tries, the person said , oh, we handle that property , too. Yes , the phone calls about the cars, not being able to get in, and the condition of the house … we were happy to leave….

Our group had an outstanding time at Tipsy Turtle. We were over the moon with the staff and communication from the team, but even more satisfied with our stay at this lovely tybee home. Tipsy Turtle accommodated our entire group perfectly - we really loved the huge patio. Another bonus was being so close to restaurants..We walked to Salt Island and The Sugar Shack every night! We'll be back every year and look forward to our next stay.

Had a lot of fun hanging out on the porch playing games. Back River Brewery is walking distance and has good food and a fun crowd. We rented bikes and were easily able to get around the whole island. Booking was easy and Tybee Cottages staff are always super friendly. Thanks again!
