Great stay and great people. We made a little scene just having fun but they didn’t make us feel uncomfortable. Beautiful town…we’ve been all over the world and this town was one of our faves! The hotel was beautiful and so clean! Much love and appreciation to Jim Thorpe. Our bed did not come unmade lol.

Everything was great. My only complaint would be that we could hear a heavy walker. We were on the top floor, so I imagine it was someone next to us pacing back and forth. It would not prevent me from coming back, it’s an older building, I’m guessing hearing someone walking is expected..

Walkable to all restaurants and the train ride. The free parking is really a big help since it's not easy to find a parking esp when they have activities or Fall festival in the area. The hotel is nice the staffs are very helpful.

Very walkable to the little downtown. Breakfast was ok. Room was spacious but had a sliding barn door for the bathroom - terrible choice. You can hear your traveling companion’s business so I hope you like them!

Two of us came for a girls trip and spent one night at the Y. The place is gorgeous and charming, staff friendly, we had a chance to meet the owner Duke, and enjoyed the peaceful sleep. We loved being able to open the room windows to let in the fall air. The provided toiletries and hotel amenities like the small breakfast helped us pack less and grab a snack before wandering for the day. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Hotel was super cute inside! Staff was absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable of the area, and definitely made us feel welcome and at ease. Jim Thorpe overall is such a neat and interesting area! The shops downtown are cool and we didn't have a single bad meal at all during our stay. 10/10 would recommend staying here

It was exceeded my expectations, the place was super clean and cozy, we like the nice simple setup for the room, some of the details were very impressive and thoughtful. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.

The hotel was clean and in a great location in this scenic quaint town. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a small little bar for happy hour…this same area provides a nice continental breakfast in the morning where you can make your own fresh waffles. The hotel provides great parking where you can walk to all of the major Jim Thorpe attractions.
I would come back to this hotel and will recommend to others.

The Y on Broadway is a great new addition to the charm of Mauch Chunk aka Jim Thorpe, PA. The renovations to the former YMCA are amazing, making the hotel one of the most unique and interesting places to stay around. Our rustic room was a blast from the past, and very quiet and comfortable. Being right in the middle of town, everything was walkable. The owners and staff were accessible and very welcoming. On-site parking was a big bonus considering the location on the main road. The town wasn't too crowded when we visited early summer. We'll definitely be back!

One of the newer petite hotels. Modern look of the rooms inside a YMCA, super friendly staff and convenient location. Too bad most places were closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Having a park lot near the main square is helpful. Will visit again.

Just checked out of this amazing establishment. I have never stayed at a hotel like this. We absolutely loved it! Every single staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless! Loved not having carpet in the room!!!
The free breakfast was an added bonus. Waffles, bagels, yogurt, donuts, fruit and oatmeal.

Nicest hotel room we've stayed in in quite a while. Room was wonderful, large with a very large bathroom. Everything updated and immaculate. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Location is great. That said, if you're not there for hiking/biking/water I'm not sure how much there really is to do in Jim Thorpe, but we have a very nice relaxing night there. And the hotel was just phenomenal.

I suggest less sugary breakfast options. I think you can get lower sugar yogurt and oatmeal. Several of the peanut butter packets were too dry to eat.

Absolutely love this place!!! It has the feel of a Bed and Breakfast with modern upgrades. The rooms are spacious and the beds were so comfortable. The staff was so nice and accommodating. We had a spa appointment the morning of check out and they let us stay later so we could enjoy our appointment. The ladies at the spa are amazing, too.
The best part is it is in the center of town. You can walk to all the shops and restaurants in Jim Thorpe. When we left the owner was outside saying hi to everyone. This hotel made for the perfect weekend getaway!

This is a beautifully remodeled building that offers both a vintage feel and a modern style with all the amenities needed and more. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, specially the check in staff.
