Room is clean, facilities are okay

I was given a windowless room and had no choice to change at the counter, I was given a 2 bed room on line. The night receptionist was not helpful.

The hot water ran out after the first day. I can live with cool showers - others cannot.

The hotel's hot water is supposedly working on solar power and takes 5 minutes to heat up. Although we waited up to 10 minutes still didn't get hot water. This was mainly a problem for my kids.

Size of room was ok and a fairly new hotel. There is an eatery there.

There were (2) strands of hair on the clean sheets but the staff brushed it off by saying it was from the laundry. There was also a baby cockroach running around in the room when we checked in. The water was not hot either. No door at the shower cubicle so the bathroom gets wet. The staff wanted to charge a 20% Singapore tourist tax, witch was not made to us, when there was already a tax and tourist fee included in the booking fee. They only waived it after I questioned them on the additional "tax" that was not reflected in the booking fee. If you have very minimal expectations, this hotel can still be suitable for you.
