very disappointed with size of room. absolutely the smallest window i have ever seen. It was functional enough but for the price was expecting and have always gotten much more. Messed up my laundry order which was not sent to cleaners until the next day. Girl at front desk was extremely helpful in getting a rush on order in that i needed it done the day after i submitted

This is a newish hotel in Oxford town centre that is pitched (and priced) as a high end boutique hotel. The reality, however, is that the fit out - rooms, bathrooms and communal areas are really quite generic, perhaps at the level above a 3 star chain (holiday inn or premier inn). In addition to the lack of aesthetic appeal or individuality the staff were really not at the level of training or competence to work in a hotel at this price point. To be generous, the staff on the weekend we visited were young, pleasant but hopeless. Frankly I did not think I encountered any member of staff with genuine hospitality experience! Minor niggles - the bathroom was overheated with no apparent method for adjusting this. The cupboard housing the minibar could not be opened without the use of a spoon to crank it open. Not really a 500 pound per night experience! Minor niggles

Amazing stay - location in the middle of the city cannot be beat. Breakfast is varied and delicious. Views from the rooftop bar are fabulous. Highly recommend!

Checking in and payment for extras was a very messy and unsatisfactory experience.

Property is wonderfully clean and new with a wonderful central location. Terrace room was quite small for the price with no place to put bags. Bathroom also quite cramped. Terrace was huge but it rained much of the time- clearly my mistake but design was really suboptimal given that weather is often rainy here and a small room is hard to fix. Other rooms without terraces might have been larger so this might be a limited issue. Staff was lovely and breakfast good

Really rich history of the hotel (the building…the hotel is brand new). The area is amazing as well. Very well located. Dining was good in hotel and soooo many options around as well.

The hotel is situated right in the middle od town, with easy access to dining and transit options, but its suprisingly quiet and restful at night. The rooftop terrace is beautiful, but limited seating, so try your luck for a drink!

Perfect stay in a beautifully furnished room. We were celebrating a special anniversary and every effort was made to mark the occasion for us (including a very generous gift of champagne and flowers waiting for us in our room). Roof terrace bar is stunning and has unrivaled views over the city. Cant wait to return

Amazing location, excellent hotel

It is a gorgeous hotel in a converted department store, perfectly located in the centre of town, easy to get anywhere by foot. Our room was phenomenal - beautifully decorated, bright, very clean, great bathroom, comfortable beds, with a great view of Cornmarket street. Staff were very welcoming and accomodating. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Lovely building, excellent location in the heart of Oxford tourist area. Friendly staff. Clean room. Basic amenities. Odd smell in the halls. Breakfast not worth the cost.

The rooms was sealed with no ventilation, comfortable but small. The staff were excellent. Great central location. Continental Break fast was help your self tea , coffee, pastries and fruit in a small area which was awkward.

Great location - city centre . Very walkable. Note there is no where to park - pedestrian streets. The property is new so everything is very clean, new and modern. It was a comfortable stay. For the price there weren’t any extra value add amenities. This would be my only apprehension for the fture.

Beautiful hotel. Only reason I would not return is that bc of the hotel having a restaurant one cannot have any outside food in any of the lobby spaces. Basically if you want to eat anything besides that which the hotel sells it must be consumed in your room.
