The property seems to have zero concern about esthetics. Walls are paper thin and the bedding showed little sign of cleanliness. The door to the room could be open with a butter knife offering no sense of a safe sleep. TV was just for show. It turned on but that was it. The bed was about as comfortable as sleeping on the floor. I walked without my shoes on for about 8 steps and the bottom of my feet were turned black. Honestly, they should pay people to spend the night there.

We had booked a room with 2 queen beds. On arriving at the property we were pleasantly surprised that it comprised of two connected rooms each with a queen bed. The young guy at the reception was very amicable and helpful.

The price was right thru Esperian the 1st day. I asked for another day he said $70 plus $20. Deposit. At 11:00 he starts knocking on the door that the changed the price and deposit. I said no I’ll Ck out. Then he started to say Ck out is at 11:00. I said I know u just told that u changed the price I need time to get my stuff out. He says it’s now 11:10. He started pounding on everyone’s doors. After I saw everyone else getting out at the same time. The train is so loud goes through the room.

There needs to be major updates or the place torn down.

I hate that hotels' security deposit fee is not mentioned on the booking page because the manager of the hotel sprung it on me when I went to check in. After I complained enough, he backed off and said don't worry about it and smiled as if it wasn't a big deal. Then I got to the room and it felt like my eyes were bleeding: bare yellow walls, yellow ceiling, dorm furniture. I wanted to turn around and leave. Then I discovered that the air conditioner made the window panes rattle so I had to rig up something to prevent that or I wouldn't be able to sleep. One of the window panes had a hole in it so I patched it up with tape. On top of it all, across the street is a very loud Latin bar blaring live banda music till late. Was happiest when I left.

The outside of the motel needs to be updated, and the area seemed unsafe. The staff was very courteous. The inside of the motel was clean and had some updates. The second bedroom had a very old carpet and the light from the wall had cut cables just sticking out of the wall. Seemed like a fire hazard. There was no bolt for the door, just the lock on the door knob. It had a cute little kitchenette and very nice remodeled bathroom. The price, though, was excellent.
