The pool is pleasant (but entirely without shade). The house is in a pleasant / quiet area. It has lovely balconies. Inca is to hand and has everything you need. The outlook of the house from the front is charming. Good internet speed.

The washing machine, boiler and dishwasher were all out of commission when we arrived. As a result I had to wash up everything by hand, using cold water, for the first few days. (This is in circumstances where I was paying nearly GBP 10,000.) This also meant that various people kept coming to the property, without any prior notice to work on these various appliances (which were fixed after 5 days: we arrived Thursday and they were all fixed by the Monday). In addition: there is no shade by the pool at all. The kitchen was not well equipped. For example there were numerous paella dishes but no small saucepans or sharp knives or scissors or any towels / tea-towels in the kitchen. When I raised these issues with the owner (via a local nanny who acted as interpretor: I did not speak to him directly save on text) he was infuriated by my "demands" and completely unapologetic. He did get us a small saucepan. There are two good sized fridges but really knackered. The oven door slides out, so that it is between you and the oven. As a resultit is easy to bury yourself on the door when trying to get anything in or out. The pool dyed everything that went into it (inflatables, swimming trunks, water pistols) a mustard yellow colour, but it's a nice pool other than that (and the lack of shade). I arranged with the owner for someone to do some cleaning whilst we were there for cash. She did a great job save that she left all of the rubbish outside (I was unaware of this) and so it ended up distributed everywhere. There is AC but only in a couple of the rooms. The house is quite basic / rustic particularly on the ground floor where most of the rooms are.
