I've been here several times. It's always nice and clean. Right at the beach. The walls are thin, and the beds are doable. They serve breakfast every morning and have fruit and hot beverages all day. The staff is friendly and accommodating. You wake up and walk out not even five min walk to the beach/sand dunes and nature. right at the freeway too. Can't beat the price.

once we came inside the room there was a puddle on the floor, there was black specks in the sink and the fire alarm went off everytime i got out of the shower.

Property didn’t have hot water, when talking to the front attendant they questioned whether we knew how to turn the water on. We explained that we did know and he yet again asked us about 7 times if we it was just our problem. After he said he would send someone up to go and check it out and they never came. It was very disappointing. The weather was about 60° out and I still had to shower with freezing cold water. Terrible experience with this specific staff member. Check in staff member was amazing and a sweetheart.

The staff was great. The room looked just like the pictures and was clean. The breakfast was good, with an excellent variety. The dyers were out of order, as well as all the vending machines.

My stay here was great! No issues. Staff was friendly and courteous. Shout out to the staff preparing breakfast! She made sure all items were full and plenty. Rooms have large Arab’s and WiFi is available.

I was pleasantly surprised as I entered the room and saw how clean it was and how well made the beds were. I also liked that there were plenty of towels and toiletries. I didn't like that the toilet felt as if it were going to topple over and when I stepped into the bathtub there were cracks in it.

there was no park for kids like in the pictures, the breakfast this morning was bacon eggs and potatoes my son ate the bacon and it was under cooked and my son got sick and threw up. the bed made noise when you rolled over. You could also hear people outside the door partying and laughing until 12 at night. The rooms need to be updated. the paint was peeling off the walls and it even had a poster about exposure to asbestos and what to look out for.

I liked that the rooms were clean and had plenty of towels and toiletries. The staff was friendly and attentive. The woman at the breakfast area was courteous and taking care of the area well. I wasn't impressed with the toilet moving as if it was going to topple over and the tub had cracks in it. Also, we were able to somewhat hear between rooms.

It was easy to be in and out. Mostly clean, some rust and the only thing I really didn't like is that we didn't have a dead bolt on our door. Breakfast was good and the kids liked it.

Basic hotel accommodations. Nothing fancy but very clean. Unfortunately our heat/cool unit wasn’t working so it got really stuffy and warm in the room. I’d have opened the windows for a breeze but the freeway noise was right beside us. Quick walk to a beautiful beach and great restaurant across the street.

This is an average hotel at a reasonable price. It was clean and the staff were friendly. The location to the beach, Monterey, and surrounding areas is great. My only complaint is that the rooms were very cold and unwelcoming. The lighting felt like being in a hospital. It was unfortunate that being in the room felt so harsh compared to the beauty of the area.

Only thing really going for it is the location which is important if your goal is to easily access the beach. Badly in need of further maintenance in some areas and needs some amenities like a Jacuzzi, fitness center, etc Pros: * Location is within walking distance to the beach and a short drive to other local attractions * Breakfast provided and decent coffee * Bed and pillows reasonably comfortable Cons: * Hotel staff were not very pleasant * No amenities * We had ants in our bathroom area * Air conditioning unit in our room sounded like it would shake itself off the wall making sleep difficult * While the room had recently been renovated and was pretty nice, the bathroom was a disaster. The bathroom door was broken, shower was a mess with broken or shoddy repairs and the bathroom was so small it was uncomfortable
