The stay was very good other than pretty slow food service at the bar and the item we had was ok but not excellent. They were busy but I thought the artichoke dip would be a quick item. Otherwise all was great.

Desk staff was courteous and very helpful. The grounds were beautiful and the breakfast at the restaurant was delicious with great staff.

Staying at this hotel every time I am in Chicago area. Absolutely perfect service and everything else. From the room’s comfort and cleanliness, the quality of soaps, shampoo and towels to pillows and bed comfort. And best kept secret is the food and view from restaurant. Great job team!! Will be back for sure.

Average, needs improvement. Check in was an issue, as the trainee at front desk upon check-in, gave use pass keys to wrong room. Booked us in 1036, neither key opened door, left my wife in hallway; went hack down; and gave us room 1035. Room needs updating, as tiny bathroom with high tub; and annoying non closing/locking pocket doors,( on tracks- not receding into walls); were clumsy without privacy. Property is nice and well kept, needs more intimate and secluded dining and cocktail lounge options.

So while this resort is nice and convenient especially for the event we attended; we went during the global IT shutdown. The computers were not working, keycards couldn’t open doors nor charge card systems worked to make purchases. We had to be taken up to our room to be let in each time (entrance and departure) by security or other hotel staff. Big inconvenience but they tried their best. My only complaint is during this time a complimentary late check out would’ve been nice, maybe a meal complimentary ticket or even a discounted visit. We received nothing!!! So for that reason I gave 3 stars. My family and I spent a lot of money and had to wait 20-30 mins to get in out room each time. Totally inconvenient.

Overall a great stay. A few spots in the room that weren't touched; may need a deep clean occasionally. The room was spacious and had a great view. Staff was friendly and helpful. Was a little shocked that I couldn't add my Hilton Honors number to my stay due to it being a 3rd party reservation.

We stayed for 5 nights, and we had a king suite with a separate living room with a queen size pull out bed. It was perfect for traveling with our teenage son.
