Outstanding hotel especially staying in the new section. The pool is the best in Barranquilla and necessary to beat the heat. Lacking was service. Service around the pool was slow and less than friendly although we did love Freddy. All in all, still a great classic hotel that is well worth the stay.

Magnificently restored hotel from the 30's with fantastic amenities, among them an almost Olympic piscine. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, and the staff exceptional. Highly recommended.

We go to Barranquilla every year and we love the Prado hotel. Its location is great, the facilities are beautiful, the pool area is gorgeous. A super clean place, the people who work there are very friendly.
The only complaint is the air conditioning. In 9 days we called 3 times because it wasn't cooling well. We think they should work on that more. It's not nice to come in from the street and your room is hot.

Absolutely a fantastic hotel to stay, everything was amazing special thank you too waiters Jonathan and daniel by the pool. They were absolutely amazing.

I have tried many hotels in Barranquilla El Prado is the best. Reasonably priced, all the staff are amazing, very safe with 24/7 security, atmosphere is lovely, swimming pool is clean and the life guards are very nice and helpful.
Dont look any farther when booking a hotel in Barranquilla.
