Room is very roomy and comfortable. The bathrooms are small but it is a very reasonably priced. It’s doesn’t have a very scenic outside but once you get in the room it’s complete comfort.

We pulled up and were a little bit turned off by the surroundings of the Travelodge... ie: rough parking lot, foot traffic around the grounds, etc. We were pleasantly surprised by the pristinely cleaned room and how quiet it was overnight. It was a perfect one night stay for the Alabama game.

Stinky room...very musty smell..bathroom not very clean, its sad that i had to wipe the shower down before showering. No coffee pot in room and it was advertised with one.

The stay was nice and the staff was very professional.

I booked one night @ Travelodge By Wyndham in Tuscaloosa, AL. for the football home opener at Alabama. The property is older, but the rooms appear to be updated. Easy access to the interstate and only 6 minutes from Bryant Denny Stadium. Rooms were clean. Soap, shampoo and towels provided. It is not a 4-5 star luxury hotel, but for what we needed it was perfect. Staff was friendly and fast at check in. We originally got put in a King room and had to ask office to transfer to a 2 double bed room. The transfer was quick and simple. I highly recommend this hotel for families or couples on a budget when traveling to the Tuscaloosa area. No frills or amazing views, but perfect for Alabama football fans to get a good night rest after a game. I will definitely be back the next time my kids and I are in town for a game! Thank you for the comfortable and affordable stay!

The room faced the interstate but was very quiet. However coffee in the morning had much to be desired. Glad I brought my own tea.

Room looked nothing like the pictures. Had to upgrade to another room which was nasty. One of the fold out couches had pee stains all over it , the refrigerator door fell off when I opened it, and for the first two nights the fire alarm in the hall beeped every few minutes all day and night. The room was booked for 6 and had towels for two we had to wait an hour and go back to the lobby to get towels and wash clothes which were handed to me in a pile we folded them ourselves. The bed linen was dingy, as was the towels. Gap under the door of about 11/2 inches. And I do have pictures. The last night the room on the same hall had a party which lasted until 4am. Not once did management adress the noise.

There were cockroaches and the place desperately needs a makeover. The bathroom door was rotting on the bottom. The toilet seat needs to be replaced. It was worst than a Motel 6. Not sure where all of the good reviews online came from unless it’s fake. Same day we checked in we were offered another room due to the cockroaches. That room didn’t have cockroaches but dead crickets. 3 hours after checking in the place lost power and our two families traveling with us couldn’t check in. We didn’t have AC in our room during a heatwave in Alabama. So we asked to leave. The General Manager refused to refund my money knowing that the reason for my stay was not in any condition to sleep in and out of my control. I know losing power was out of their control too but yet they refused to refund my money and say that my booking was non refundable. This location I found out is privately owned so they just wanted to be unprofessional and keep their money knowing it was not our fault at all. Stay away from this place.

I needed a blanket and called the front desk. The man at the desk said no he couldn't get a blanket for me because housekeeping wasn't there. Needless to say, I was uncomfortable all night. I have never stayed at a hotel with such poor hospitality. He was, also, rude about it.
