Alright, so I don't normally leave reviews, but this Bohemian, classy, old-NY styled hotel was right up my alley. It wasn't too big, wasn't too small, had the right amount of amenities for a solo dude traveling without his spouse. Sauna, city skyline viewed porch, comfy rooms, but the standout was how sweet, attentive, and genuinely caring both Lee and Miriam were both from check in to check out. They could tell I was an out-of-towner, and they took the time to make recommendations, orient me to the city and what it had to offer. On my next trip back to NY, they had better be here.

We visited Brooklyn for a family wedding with no knowledge of the area. The Henry Norman Hotel turned out to be a serendipitous choice. It is a beautiful boutique hotel with large, clean and comfortable rooms. All amenities were provided. The size of the bathrooms in an NYC hotel was remarkable. The staff went above and beyond to assist us in every request. Martin, at the front desk was especially helpful. Thank you! Excellent restaurants, bakeries and shops of all kinds within walking distance. Easy 20 minute ride into Manhattan. If you need/want to be in the Greenpoint area, you will not be disappointed by the HNH.

This place is very comfortable and quite quirky. There is no parking, but it's in a neighborhood where street parking is easy and they send out a staff member to find you a spot, then wait in it while you get your car! Above and beyond.
The street is light industry, residential the next block. The room is huge by any standard and the price is extremely reasonable.

One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. Staff was exceptionally accommodating. Hotel was beautiful, comfortable, deco, eco, AND had TWO terraces overlooking NYC. Quiet safe neighborhood. This hotel is EVERYTHING!!

Room was a bit dark (limited natural light) and one morning heard clicking that sounded like a person walking on heels above us that lasted a long time (poor soundproofing?) but overall very good experience. Would not hesitate to recommend.

I booked a Delux suite. It was spacious & clean. However, I heard road/street noise at night & in the AM. There was No Smart tv (so no Netflix/Prime/Hulu etc.). There was No breakfast included. The floor was crooked/drooping down. For over $300/night…. CRAZY price!! I I actually asked about the $10 breakfast and they would not include it. This is not a five Star hotel room, but they asked for that price. Only reason I stayed here is my daughter lived less than two blocks away

There are very few dining facilities nearby, and I would be afraid to walk around there in the evening. The breakfast, at $10.00 per person, had stale baked goods on the one day that I ate there, on 8/13. There are no hot things to eat unless you eat oatmeal. I only ate there once the week I was there.

For the price and what we got was nice. For the location, the decor in the room, it did not feel like a hotel. Felt like an Airbnb which was a good feeling. Staying on the weekend, the parking wasn’t too bad but if you stay during the week, that’s where you might have issues. Overall I would recommend this place.

Adorable hotel that feels like a home. The staff are super friendly, the building is beautiful, never had an issue with any noise and the neighborhood is walkable and very close to a very pretty park and some food options. High ceilings, cute aesthetic, nice bathroom, comfy beds, great view of the city from our room.
