Staff were excellent, without exception. Warm and friendly and entirely welcoming. The bed was comfortable either side of the centreline, although very obviously two singles zipped together which made for a dip in the middle. Blackout curtains were a positive too. Downsides: soundproofing is poor. You can hear every door closing and too many conversations from other rooms. The shower pressure was painfully weak (but the water was always reliably hot on demand). Finally, if you have mobility issues make sure you book an accessible room, otherwise you will be faced with a plethora of small staircases and a menagerie of random doors.

The pillows were lumpy I don't know if they had been through a wash or not. Breakfast was the highlight with plenty to offer and it was lovely. The hotel staff were lovely. I would stay here again if they changed the pillows and had a different room with a view.

Carpets in reception needs vacuuming, very strange smell on stairs. Sometimes made bed, sometimes didn’t. Replaced towels when they felt like it. Water was brown but had to ask for water, should have been replaced daily. Had to clear own table to find somewhere to eat in bar, after starters no plates cleared and mains delivered, food was OK. The hotel is really nice. The room was spacious and very clean and had everything you need such as comfy bed, good hairdryer, iron and TV. Bathroom was nice, big and very clean too. Shame I did not have time to use the pool. I will come back if I am in the area.

It’s a clean hotel and convenient spa. Everything is was fine nothing great had dinner at restaurant food was mediocre and service was bad. Had to ask after 20 minutes if someone can at least take drinks order. Then again have to call to clear table after waiting for 15 minutes. Breakfast is full English but ingredients were cheap quality especially beans and sausages. So over all mediocre experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everyone was lovely. I would have given it 10/10 but what let it down was the shower room which had not been cleaned. My stay was from 31st Aug to 1st Sept. I used the facilities on the morning of 31st and then again on the 1st. In the big shower cubicle the plug hole was full of hair and an electic band bthe other smaller cubicles were only slightly better. Its a shame but overall l9vely. I would definitely visit again but let staff know about any issues while i am at the hotel xx

The front desk didnt seem able to access our reservation or restaurant booking. They didnt make us aware of the parking requirements. We asked for menus, they came with no prices. We ended up eating somewhere else.

We had an amazing time and the customer service was really on point. The staff member at breakfast was very funny and friendly. She made our breakfast time fun. The gym, steam room, sauna and pool were great to be able to use. Overall experience was really good. The only recommendation is to sort out the parking. Having to pay for parking as a guest is quite ridiculous.

Sadly never got to see my room, I had a phone call to cancel at 17:30pm on the evening I was due. They said they had tried to call me earlier but there were no missed calls or messages 😢. However they did resolve the issue eventually, did take quite a lot of stressful time waiting to hear, by booking me into a hotel relatively close. Which was lovely, staff could not have been more delightful and worked out well as my dogs had a field to run in behind the hotel. So a big shout out to the Cheltenham Chase Hotel, I even had a complementary drink for the inconvenience. Robinson picked up the difference in charge.

I recieved many emails from the hotel asking me ablut upgrades etc snd yet the email didnt recieve the request made on booking nor my email on here to request a cot. When we arrived the cot wasnt put up and the hotel put us in a room which aas down 2 floghts of stairs with no lift. Great when havjng to wrestle a tired/sleeping infant at 10pm. The room was not soound proof and we heard the comings and goings of anyone who came alone the corridor. Breakfast was alright and the staff werre friendly but it was not the place to stay with a small child due to noise and no cot. The room was not very clean, the bathroom had hairs in it which weren't ours. Carpets filthy.

Kitchen restaurant staff were very helpful, receptionist not so much didnt seem to have knowledge of certain things, good breakfast nucevto vosit stram and sauna, only put off was parlung charge considering yoir a huest it should be free

Fab stay lovely hotel

Room was hot. Service extremely slow. Breakfast starts late at the weekend with zero flexibility. Could be a good hotel but failing in so many ways
