Our recent stay at Wyndham Alltra Cancun was unfortunately quite disappointing, especially considering the high expectations we had based on its advertised family-friendly facilities. The main reason we chose this hotel was for its water park and waterslides, which we thought would be perfect for our children. However, these facilities were closed for 90% of our stay. Given that this was the highlight for us when booking, it was a major letdown and affected the entire experience. We also had high hopes for our honeymoon celebration. We requested a bottle of champagne to be waiting in our room upon check-in, which the staff kindly acknowledged in their email communication prior to our arrival. Sadly, the champagne was not delivered as promised, and it was only after I emailed the front desk again that we finally received it—24 hours later. While the gesture was appreciated, the timing had already passed, and the moment was not quite the same. The lack of attention continued at check-out, where we were not even asked how our stay had been. This was quite surprising and left a negative final impression. I have never stayed at a hotel where staff didn’t show any interest in the guest’s experience upon departure. On the plus side, the beach was beautiful, and the Italian and Mexican restaurants offered good food, but room service was dry and flavorless. While some staff were friendly, communication in english was difficult. For us the experience was poor.

Resort was just right for our family of five. Not too big and not too small. Food options are good. Beach was perfect. Would recommend.

Everything was very nice we had really good time there.

All the employees of the hotel are amazing and they really care about their guests.

As far as facility the room was great the pool the access to the beach and the beach itself was great, staff and the customer service was fabulous. Food was not really good it was ok. The worse thing and they really need to work on is the AC in the restaurant's. It was too hot I don’t know if the AC was broken in the 5 restaurants I was in or they don’t run the AC, I really dont know, I was sweating while I was eating in the all restaurants that I visited.

I will definitely be back I enjoyed my Birthday the staff was really nice and the entertainment department was great. I played soccer on the beach for the first time.

Food was the best resort food we have had in all our trips to Cancun. Staff was friendly and understanding. Overall it was an amazing resort. will go back again!

The entire staff at the Alltra Cancun went out of their way to help in any way they could. The beach here is excellent, and the food was very good (also with numerous choices and dining venues).

The location of the hotels is great and great beach and facilities are clean. The only thing i didn’t like was the food and drinks. Because of the all inclusive they have a small selection of food so if you are staying for a few days, you get sick of eating the same food over and over. There was no good menu for kids as well. Only had some chicken nuggets and chicken that was not good and always cold. As for drinks, they water it down a lot. Sometimes it felt like they are just serving water with ice all the time without much alcohol at all.

The property was nice. Staff was nice. The food on the other hand not so good only at the buffet. The chairs to lay out on the beach are all busted up, they could use some new ones. Other than that it was a good stay.

Excellent all inclusive family friendly resort. Service was wonderful all around. Plenty of activities for kids and adults. Food and drinks were great. Beach perfect.

Really bad experience. First time traveling out of the US and it was disappointing. Ants in the bed, on the bed side tables, floor, and crawling up the curtain. Gift shop sold me cracked RayBan sunglasses and refused to give a refund or exchange. Staff is rude and will not help. For the price you can find something better
