It was a bad weekend weather wise and the hotel lobby and bar was cold. Rooms were ok with a comfy bed . Dining room food was poor. Hard flatbread and oven chips.

Nice hotel in a good location for driving to Chester or Chesire Oaks. Hotel staff are friendly. Hotel could do with upgrading, a little dated. Didnt get a chance tocuse any of the facilities, but breakfast was good with a wide variety of choice.

The Hotel was fine but little things let it down. The first night they had a problem for hours with the till at the bar, resulting in long waits to purchase any hot or cold drinks or bar food or snacks. One night we dined in the restaurant and although only 7:30pm they had sold out of so many items on the menu we wished we had gone out for food. Three times the poor waitress had to come back to our table to apologise and ask us to change our order. For the price and star rating of the hotel I expected better.

Lovely overnight stay with a friend to visit Chester Christmas markets.
Great location and easy to find. Free parking was perfect as we caught the bus into Chester.

Everything was pretty much fine. The only problem was there were large brown stains on the sheets of my bed.

Check in was good and hotel staff all very friendly and helpful. Only slight negative for me is that I suffer from allergies - (dogs) and presume the room is one which allows dogs but even though the room was clean the I did suffer all night and into the next day.

Great location for Park & Ride into Chester and super helpful staff. Although clean and tidy, the rooms are close to needing a refresh. Apart from that it was just what we needed at an excellent room rate

The hotel looked a bit run down and in need of refurbishment. The service in the restaurant and bar food area was terrible. I ate at the hotel three times during my stay purely for convenience. The first night i ate in the bar food area and ordered dessert at the same time as my main. My main came out within 5 minutes so was obviously reheated. I then waited 20 minutes after my main was collected and no dessert appeared. When I went to the bar to check where it was they realised that they had forgotten to send the order to the kitchen.
On the 2nd and 3rd nights I didnt even get to the stage of being able to order a dessert as I was waiting 20 minutes after i finished my main for somebody to come and clear my plateand take my dessert order. I gave up at this stage and had to go to the till to make payment. Not very impressive!

Jacuzzi and pool just what we needed.
Loved the fact you could stream from your phone to watch what you wanted. Bed was massive as well

Overall the hotel is functionally good and clean but some of the decor is dated and a few cracked tiles etc. Food is average and expensive with the 10% service charge added even to drinks ordered at bar (incidentally I don't like this prices were high enough compared to other hotels to include enough to pay staff adequately and any tips should be under the control of customers for good service). The pool area again was good but busy at times with lessons etc and comes with jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Again a little dated/in need of maintenance compared with other hotels but functionally perfectly ok. Next to park and ride which is good for visiting the city. Could have been a 5 with a few changes but gave it a 4 as we did still really enjoy our stay.
