Booked the room (105) with the large terrasse, large bed/ bath and shower/tea/coffee machine. Great value for money and hotel is next to the tram stop Durandy. Service was wonderful from everyone. Friendly, attentive, and they kept the baggage until later in the day. I would recommend the hotel on the service and the value for money.

This hotel has friendly staff and a comfortable, welcoming environment. I liked that it is tucked away off the street and has a beautiful lobby space for having a coffee or happy hour. There is water available by the reception and you have your choice of still or sparkling. You can take a carafe up to your room and stow it in your fridge, too. The room we had was quaint but functioned just fine for two of us. I was grateful that there was a closet for stowing shoes, smaller bags and for hanging clothes. I also appreciated the Nespresso coffee machine for having an afternoon cup after coming back from a day of exploring. The room overall had some charming details that made it feel inviting and updated. We did pay for the breakfast and enjoyed the variety of options. Lastly, the hotel is situated not too far from the shopping on Jean Médecin and is a short distance from the beach. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a short getaway.

Really enjoyed my 5 day stay at the hotel. Staff at the front desk were all very kind and caring! They also spoke English and even helped me learn some French which was nice. I enjoyed being able to rent towels and getting filtered water from the front desk area. They have a nice happy hour with cheap drinks which is fun. It was a short walk to the beach and shopping and felt safe walking at 11 pm at night which was important to us. Overall a lovely hotel and would stay here again!!!!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Vendome. The building itself is beautiful and well maintained. The front desk staff was helpful and kind. The location is within close walking distance of the Durandy tram station as well many restaurants and stores. The breakfast was good with plenty of options for everyone. We would definite stay here again if / when we return to Nice!

Reception was told to be open 24/7 but close at midnight. Room wasn’t cleaned as it should’ve been. It was though in a perfect area, in the middle of everything and a short walk to the beach. The building was really beautiful!

Very nice hotel, perfect location. I was able to walk everywhere my entire stay, I did not use any type of transportation other than to get to and from the airport. The hotel room was really small, it was just me so I managed. I did find it weird that the lights were always off in the hallways, maybe they’re preserving electricity as it is an old building. The room was dirty when I arrived and I was told they couldn’t do anything about it ‘cause it was late at night - around 10 PM.
The carpet was dirty with stains, the sink at the bathroom wasn’t clean.
The walls aren’t sound proof at all, as it says at the description. I could hear people in the hall way, the guy next room to me sneezing the elevator going up at down 24 hours.

Good location and lovely staff but our top floor room was tiny! Yes it had a terrace that got morning sun but wasn’t worth the increased price. Breakfast was also a little expensive for what it was- local cafes nearby were a better option
